|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Our lovely Washington DC home has received nothing but glowing reviews since we began renting it. Over and over again, our guests comment on how spacious, convenient, and inviting it is—not to mention the warm welcome they received upon arrival!
Taking advantage of the end of the year (2014), we proceeded to totally renovate the house so as to keep it new.
Perfect for families or other groups, the two-story, three-bedroom house is truly a “home away from home.” Start each day with a fresh cup of coffee and home-cooked breakfast, which you can enjoy in one of two dining areas or on the front porch overlooking the garden. Then spend the rest of the day exploring Georgetown, one of downtown D.C.’s world-renowned museums, Silver Spring, Arlington—all of which are only minutes away by car. After sightseeing, return home to the comfort and privacy of your rental and watch a movie together on the 50-inch HDTV.
All three bedrooms are located on the second floor, including the spacious master suite, which comes with a queen-size bed, full bath, and a private sitting room. The larger guest bedroom also has a queen-size bed. The 3rd guest bedroom has a double full-size bunk bed. The two guest bedrooms share a bathroom, and there is a third full bathroom located downstairs.
The kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances and a full set of dishes, and we've included all the linens and soap you might need. You’ll also find a computer, an all-in-one printer, a library of books, and more. Fast Internet and cable TV, as well as Hi Fi Stereo are included.
Finally and if you filter for the number, variety and quality of amenities, you will realize it is unique. The proximity to everything, the beauty and comfort, the convenience, the remarkable number of amenities, as well as a perfect family caring service, make it the perfect place to stay at.

Adam purchased this townhome in 2004
As mentioned, our home is centrally situated near major roads and public transportation stops, which makes it a breeze to explore D.C. and the surrounding areas. We’re also located only four minutes from the Walter Reed Medical Center, Verizon Conference center; our home is an ideal place to stay at if you are visiting DC attractions, family gatherings or on a business-related trip. The perfect and trustworthy service will make you feel like family.
Trust, Beauty, comfort, convenience, service and proximity, have always been consistently delivered and shown. That is why we are able to guarantee that you will like your stay and all of the above.
The uniqueness about this house is its generosity with its diversified, numerous and quality amenities It is very nice and makes you feel truly at home. Most people who stayed in this house said 'It was perfect', for it has recently been through an upscale renovation. You have the feeling you are in a new house with everything at its place. You just need to organize the groceries and you are ready to enjoy the house. But the single most important feature about this house, is the willingness of the host to bend over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, through a thorough orientation prior and upon arrival, tips and so forth. With available brochures about DC at hand, you will have everything you need for a great stay.
I would just like to say what a wonderful week my family and myself had in DC, partly because of Adam's house. What a wonderful place to stay. Clean, emaculate, top-notch accommodations. Plenty of room for everyone. It was very nice to be able to come back there at the end of a long site-seeing day in DC, and be able to cook a nice dinner just like at home and kick the shoes off and relax. We could not of been more happy with the place and the location. Your host, Adam, sees to EVERYTHING you could possibly ask for, and then some. I have already reccommended his house to others I work with.
My family of four (husband, me, 2 college-age children) stayed at Adam's place over the July 4th week, and we never stopped. So coming back to a homey, very comfortable rental with everything we needed and more was fantastic. There is so much room in the house (3 bedrooms, plus 2 large couches downstairs - oh, and 3 full baths. You can't beat that!), and it was really nice to spend time relaxing with the entire family at night after a very busy day on our feet.
Adam was the best part. He was reachable any time of day, and so very welcoming. He knows DC like the back of his hand and is very handy with advice about transportation, shopping, eating, etc. We even had a repair problem while we were there (our fault), and Adam had the problem fixed before we came back that evening. My son also left an important book behind, and Adam is sending it to us this weekend.
As far as getting in and out of DC -- Adam can direct you via the bus, but we just chose to drive our car to the Metro, which is within a few miles from the house. There is plenty of parking, and there is staff onsite to assist you with tickets. Also, we really liked Silver Spring for dinners, which is a 5-minute drive away, and offers a very family-friendly community square with plenty of restaurants and a movie theater, plus a little shopping (DSW, H&M to mention a few).
I would highly recommend Adam's house. Thanks Adam!
Our extended family, from three different states, met in Washington DC for an educational family vacation. Our stay at Adam's Eden was terrific! Adam's attention to detail was top-notch. Everything we could possible need was available when we arrived and Adam was gracious enough to supply us with things we ran out of. The three bedrooms, three bathrooms, extra twin beds and tons of bedding came in handy for our group of nine. There was plenty of space and hot water for everyone! We stayed at Adam's without a car and relied entirely on the bus and rail system for getting around. The bus stop was a short 2 blocks away and the inexpensive bus pass got us to all the DC attractions we wanted to see. We walked to the convenience stores nearby and Wal-Mart was only a 1/2 mile away. The neighborhood is diverse and charming and the neighbors are friendly.
Thanks, Adam, for everything! We had a great time :)
We so enjoyed our stay. Adam was the perfect host. Because we were getting in late the first night he even bought our class pizzas since we had no idea where anything was at that point.
We exclusively used public transportation. The local 79 or 70 bus will take you right down to the mall or you can take the bus the other direction to the metro line and make other connections. We shopped at the local Walmart which was about a 10 minute, safe walk. Adam had a barbecue and all the necessary utensils and briquettes. The house was set up very well to sleep 5 girls and 4 boys and two other adults. The bathrooms were very clean as was the kitchen. Because you are really inner-city, there was always activity outside in the front with a lot of "stoop-sitting" but everyone was friendly. Sometimes it was a bit loud but the house felt very safe and was very comfortable. I would definitely suggest this property to others who are looking to take advantage of a nice place to stay while keeping your expenses down.
We were a big family of 11, we all had a wonderful time at Adam's house. Adam is a wonderful host and looks into all details. Adam is always available to solve any minor issue that can arise and the house is very comfortable. Everything is like it shows in the pictures and the inside of the house looks like new!
Thank you very much Adam for your hospitality!
There were 9 of us that stay for 4 days. Adam was a wonderful host. He was responsive in setting up our reservation, attentive and extremely helpful during our visit. Parking was available in driveway and on the street. I would suggest that small vehicles fit well in the parking space and larger vehicles (van/suv) would be more comfortable on the street. We brought two vehicles. We spent most days in town at the Smithsonian's and Adam was a great guide in suggesting how to get there and where to park once there. The house was wonderfully clean and spacious - enough bathrooms and bedrooms for us to sleep well and get ready all at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked well; including television and internet. I would have no concerns in recommending this location to friends and family for short or long term stays.
This house is located just 1 mile from the Rock Creek Parkway, that will take you to Georgetown in 10 minutes by avoiding the red lights, the Lincoln Memorial in 12 minutes, Arlington Cemetery in 13 minutes. Rock Creek Park will allow you to hike, walk and bike. The Eastern entrance of the Zoo is at barely 3 miles. It is also close to the bus stop that will take you straight to the Space Museum and the Mall in about 20-30 minutes, 4.5 miles (including the red lights). It is also near a bike rental that will give you the opportunity to bike, with available biking routes, should you need to, and to great sport facilities located at respectively 1.5 and 3.5 miles from the house. Silver Spring, Md is barely at 3 miles (easy drive) with its free evening parking, restaurants and movie theaters. The metro is at 1.5 miles from the house and there is a bus shuttle at the corner of the house, going to the Metro. There is a big parking at the metro. The metro has 3 metro lines going anywhere. Depending on where you want to go, there is a specific option that will be indicated to you upon a thorough orientation at arrival.
Activities: shopping, health/beauty spa. Walmart just opened nearby at walking distance, Georgia Ave. and Missouri Ave. People walk their pet even late at night. The house is therefore located just like at the summit of a pyramid. Everything is minutes away.
