This newly renovated cottage is centrally located in the forest of Bald head Island overlooking a lagoon and close to everything. The peaceful screened in porch allows you to sip wine and watch the wild life go by. New hardwood flooring, and granite countertops along with a beachy decor provide a peaceful interior with all the comforts of home after a fun day at the beach. A private community gazebo along with it's own wildlife over look, provide a perfect spot for evening grilling. This unit comes with two four seater golf carts for travel. Bikes, boogie boards, skim boards, and beach chairs will complete any stay at the beach. The two upstairs master suites, have full private baths, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. The queen bedroom has a single futon for a small child. The third downstairs bedroom has an unattached full bath with two twin beds. Kitchen table seats 6, along with seating for 6 around the granite breakfast bar. Queen pull out in family room.

Getting to Bald head Island is half the fun. A relaxing 20 minute passenger ferry ride transports you from the ferry terminal at Indigo Plantation to the harbour at Bald Head Island. You are greeted by the tram to be escorted to your home at 12 Sabal Palm cottage where 2 golf carts await for you to go exploring the harbour and 14 miles of, West, South and East beaches, along with the beautiful marsh lands. Historic Old Baldy awaits for you to climb and explore. Visit the beautiful Chapel. Investigate the great Conservancy programs, including turtle walks on the beaches, Kayak the marshes, crab and fish the creeks and oceans. Dinner at the exquisite Shaols Club or BHI Club, watching the sun set is a perfect ending to your day.

The BHI club has tennis, pool, golf, playground, volleyball, and croquet for different fees, along with excellent dinning. Temporary membership to the BHI Club is $130wk or 3 days for $75. The beautiful Shoals Club has extraordinary ocean views, excellent dining and 2 pools. Temporary membership is $115week or $20day 2 day minimum. These rates are per family.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time, as a matter of fact my 7 year old son said it was the best vacation ever!

We loved the peace and quiet of the island. No sirens, traffic noises, just tranquility.

The house was fantastic. My son loved the guitar hero. Husband loved driving the golf carts and I loved the porch.

The pool at the shoals club was a blast and was a fun short drive.

Tina was the ultimate host giving us all the info we needed for the perfect vacation. There is nothing else we could have asked for.

The home was clean, perfectly decorated, and had everything you could need from shampoos to beach chairs and coolers.

This is now going to be our new annual vacation spot, thanks for everything!
