Historic Carmel By The Sea is truly a treasure if you have never been. This small community is reminiscent of a little European town with the architecture and alleyways between streets. There a many wonderful restaurants, several theaters, lots of boutique shops and galleries. The Carmel beach provides a couple miles of white sand shores and is located at the end of Ocean Avenue. Outside of Carmel, there is Big Sur, famous for it's pristine ocean and mountain landscape, Carmel Valley, known for it's wine tasting and outdoor activities such as hiking, horseback riding and golf and Monterey, known for the aquarium and fisherman's wharf. Pebble Beach is only a minute away as well and is known for it's several world renown golf courses, spas, restaurants and dramatic coastline.

Location, location. location: Carmel-By-The-Sea is a unique European type Village. There are only a few new condominiums in the downtown area. Downtown encompasses 1 square mile. This particular unit is in that area. The unit is brand new construction and is one of only three units. The other two units are currently owner occupied, so this is a low activity area. This unit is by itself on the second level with high ceilings and lots of light. It is completely one level and has both elevator and stair access.

Gourmet Heaven: There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 60+ restaurants in town and you can walk (and enjoy their wine selections) to them all. Street after street of beautiful shops and galleries are within this same proximity. If you do not feel like dining out on a particular eve, most of the restaurants will deliver plus there is a concierge service available for an additional charge.

Gorgeous Beaches/Fabulous Golf Courses: In addition, the Beach, with beautiful white sand is only a few blocks away. There are MANY well-known golf courses within a very short drive. It does not get much better than this.

Golf: Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, Spyglass, Poppy Hills, Quail, Carmel Valley Ranch, La Canada, BlackHorse to name some...........all within a 12 minute drive......

This place was great. The unit was new, well done and in a great location. The folks renting it were professional, pleasant and helpful. We'd rent this place again and rent from the owners without hesitation.
