Beautiful 3 bedroom + bonus room with futon full size . Two and half bathroom house located in Golden Gate Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. This 1,700 square foot fully detached 1937 charming Single family home offers panoramic ocean views from living room and dining room. Only few blocks away to the Golden Gate Park, Restaurants, Ocean beach, San Francisco Zoo, and Cliff House. Highway One just 500 feet away. Public transportation can take you downtown to the malls and shops. The house would also be well suited to two or three couples attending a wedding or traveling together. The owner is native San Franciscan and happy to help plan your visit, Recommend restaurants or assist in anyway possible.

The Golden Gate Heights of San Francisco is one of the best locations in the city. Everything is close by: The ocean just down the beach a few miles. You can walk to the restaurants in the inner sunset, Golden Gate Park just few blocks away (including the Japanese Tea Garden, Deyoung Museum, Stowe Lake, the Botanical Garden & the Conservatory of Flowers) and many interesting shops, cafes and excellent restaurants you will discover around the neighborhood. The N-Judah (street car) stops at corner and east-bound will take you directly to the Haight/Ashbury district, downtown, shopping and financial districts, the Embarcadero/Ferry Building, the Wharf and AT&T Park (Home of the SF Giants Baseball Team). About 1.5 miles (2.5km) in the west-bound direction the street car will take you to Ocean Beach. During the summer and fall seasons there are music concerts (often free) in Golden Gate Park and Stern Grove, which will be only a short distance from you vacation home.

We had two couples and a family of four staying in this house. The views are gorgeous and make the living room and kitchen the place to be. The house is very clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient to everything. Great restaurants are nearby. Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, and Thanh Long (our favorite restaurant) were all easily accessible. Staying in a house made it easy to coordinate when we were going, staying, etc. We had little kids and they loved it there. I'd recommend this house to anyone who's interested in staying in a convenient, comfortable, and clean setting in San Francisco with easy parking.

Great place to stay

We comfortably fit three couples, another adult and a baby in this house while we were in town for a wedding. It was great to have a home base for all of us together while on vacation. Having a kitchen and living room and dining room to spend time in with family and friends was so nice. We all agreed that it was way better than having to sit around in someone's hotel room or scheduling times to meet at restaurants and such. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all 8 of us.

We all loved the view and enjoyed the cool breeze blowing through the house. The jukebox was a fun addition too!

The location was great for exploring Golden Gate Park (wish I had more time to explore - great park!) and good for heading to the beach, Fisherman's Wharf, downtown, or across the Golden Gate bridge. The mosaic stairs nearby are gorgeous and the view from the top of the hill is wonderful on a clear day - you can see the whole city.

We rented cars, but didn't necessarily need to, there are a number of bus and rail lines within a few blocks. A couple of us took the bus and BART to the airport and that was very easy and worked well. Parking was also convenient at this house even though we had rented two cars, there always seemed to be places available on the street nearby.

We loved every min in Julies house, the location was perfect, so quiet, everything we needed was in the house, it was, very clean and spacious, the beds were huge, comfie / pristine, I loved to sit in the dining room and look out over the fantastic views, The Juke Box was awsome,and the lion was well behaved.We loved to visit Andronico's supermarket, situated a few blocks away. On our last night we went to Alcatraz, it was amazing( remember you must book in advance),Julie did try to meet us but we were going to miss her due to a very late arrival to the house, fantastic house, if you are planning a visit to San Francisco, you must choose this house, you will not be disappointed.Booking is so smooth and easy, so go ahead. We would like to visit SF again in the future, its a place that has everything, from lazy days on beach, china town, busy centre, quiet neighbourhoods, all the houses are well maintained with lots of pretty flowers in the gardens,lovely parks, such a amazing place and staying in this house just put the icing on the cake as they say, Thanx Julie xxx
