This home sits among the pines on a hilltop overlooking beautiful Lake Algonquin and mountains beyond. We call her 'Trailer-Licious'. She's a 1966 mobile home that has been renovated and given tons of loving care and attention to make her what she is today - a unique and delightful modern lakeside retreat. Very open, modern loft - like feel throughout with mountain and lake views from every room, cozy fireplace. High speed wireless internet, free phone. Weber gas grill, outdoor firepit. IPod player. Large sectional couch w/flat screen TV and DVDs for movie viewing by firelight. Lots great books and games. No cable TV though, we come here to get AWAY from the news! Great fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking, many waterfalls in the area, free tennis in town..will share all the local scoop. 2 kayaks, 2 bikes. Winter activities abound - gorgeous hikes, snowmobiling, world class x country skiing (Lapland Lake, Garnett Hill) and downhill skiing (Gore). 2 sets snowshoes.

Perfect romantic getaway!

We just returned from our weekend away and had the MOST fabulous time. Trailerlicious was even nicer than it appears in the pictures, the house was spotless and you can really tell a lot of effort was put into modernizing this cozy little home.
We spent most of our time lounging by the fireplace, watching movies from the extensive movie library, taking walks around the scenic lake and fishing from the little public dock across the street. GORGEOUS views of the lake and mountains.
At night, we roasted marshmallows in front of the charming fire pit and watched the sun set.
What pleasantly surprised us is how close by everything was — from restaurants and pubs (we spend a fantastic afternoon at The Lake House bar and grill), to scenic hikes and state parks — everything was right around the corner! And yet we STILL felt like we were in our own, private little world at Trailerlicious.
Thank you, Maura, for making your special little home available to others to share. We can't wait to come back!

Lived it, Love it, Laughed a lot!

This place is very special. My boyfriend and I stayed here the third week in August and loved every minute of it. Trailer-Liscious is clean, comfortable, and accommodating.
They have an extensive collection of books, brochures, and information for activities, stores, and dining in and around the area which was very helpful to us. Between the spacious kitchen and BBQ we only ate out once at the Lakeside Grill which was delicious.
Wells has some beautiful waterfalls and hikes which we biked to, and kayaking on Lake Algonquin is breathtaking. Our favorite hike was Crane Mountain for it's spectacular views and privacy. The Blue Mountain trail is also recommended.

There is something about this place which words can't describe. A "felt sense" of peace I haven't experienced on a vacation as far as I can remember. We will definitely be back next year! A perfect romantic getaway for a couple!

Hope to rent again this fall!!!!!

Rented Trailerliscious last November, and am sure hoping to again this coming November. What a GREAT little place!!!!!!!

We found the location PERFECT..... the setting PERFECT.... tho location to nearby trailheads PERFECT...... Just had a GREAT time, and thought the place was well.... PERFECT!!!!

I was just checking availability for the first week in August, and am a bit bummed it is rented, but guess I'll come back in November....

This would make an ideal place for a couple - minus the kids. I rented with my cousin, and used it as a "base camp" for our hikes. Blue Mountain is a fantastic hike, and is very close. Be sure to check out Snowy too!

The cottage had a very nice selection of DVD's and also some board games, including Scrabble - which was played till the wee hours of the morning...

This camp is a GREAT getaway from the hustle and bustle of work etc, and the wind whistling through the pines at night was like music. Couldn't ask for a nicer person than Maura....

Wife and I stayed for a week this spring and couldn't have felt more relaxed. It is a fun and funky trailer that is clean and well layed out. The view was stunning and it was very peaceful and quiet. Kayaks were a blast. The movie collection was a great extra. We took a few hikes and enjoyed walking around the lake. Owners were very accomodating...see you next year!
