Secluded at the end of a quiet dirt road that winds up Strawberry Mountain, private vacation retreat brings you the Arizona vacation experience you will never forget and want to repeat.

Two full decks offer magnificent 180 degree views of the mogiollon rim and the back porch faces the national forest where you can enjoy views of elk, deer and other wildlife. The cabin is within walking distance of the cozy mountain village of Pine and is 90 minutes north of Phoenix and 2 hours from the Grand Canyon.

The town of Pine has wonderful restaurants, antique stores and local shops. The Tonto Natural Bridge is a must see along with scenic hiking trails in the national forest, fishing in the many rim lakes, and on the way to swimming in nearby Fossil Creek you will pass and be able to tour Arizona's first school house.

Nearby Payson offers movies, golf and additional seasonal activities like rodeos, salsa contests and more.

This cozy 2700 square foot retreat has a master suite with a full bath, a separate and private daylight basement downstairs with it's own bath that has a double and single bed as well as a sleeper sofa....perfect for guests and/or kids.

There is also a private bedroom off the garage with a queen bed. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen and living areas for quality indoor and outdoor living. Enjoy the stunning views while you relax and entertain....or if you are lucky you will have dinner with the elk off the back porch.

Family came from different states to celebrate a 65th Wedding Anniversary. What an awesome week-end in an incredible cabin. Cabin was just as it was described. All the comforts of home and then some. Incredible views, we saw two deer the second morning we were there. We had grandchildren from 3 - 12 which loved the air hockey table downstairs. We were there in the middle of the (Arizona) monson season when the temps are an average of 110 - 112 degrees. The temperature in Pine was about 87 degrees. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

We LOVED staying at this rental in Pine. The view was amazing, the cabin was immaculate and included every amenity of home - and then some! 6 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of space. Well maintained property with amazingly helpful owners. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

What a GREAT weekend

The house was AMAZING!!! It snowed while we where there. Listening to the children sledding was the best. Elaine and Ed made the whole process super easy. Their "cabin" had everything you needed and more. If you have a chance to come up to Pine, AZ...stay here. You will not be dissappointed. Thank you Elaine & Ed

There is not a better mountain getaway in Arizona! This beautiful "cabin" is fully equipped, very comfortable, and offers stunning views. I am an author, so I appreciate the solitude this property offers. I get more writing done in a week in Pine than in a month in Phoenix! And because it's so much cooler at that altitude, I can do all my writing out on the deck! You will love it!
