The photos of the Studio do not do the studio justice, for my family of four ( 2 adults 2 kids ) it was very comfortable. The stuido was very clean. There is lots to see and do at Palmas except for those who want everything at their finger tips and im sure at Palmas you can have that but it will cost you. The beach is NOT a beach for kids or those who cant swim, for that I recommend CULEBRA, Flamenco beach, always in the top ten of the WORLD, YES WORLD. Try the MOJITOS at Chez Daniels restaurant, bar tender nick name " CUCO " was voted 2nd best on the island of PR, works Wed - Sat, awesome eats and drinks. Tennis courts were well maintained and those who like Golf, bring your sticks or rent them and bring your game, many local golfers are stepping up their game. The pools were well maintained and honestly we had them all to ourselves. August and Sept are hurricane season so this mega resort is somewhat empty which in a way was AWESOME for us. All in all the stuido and resort in our opnion is above par. Just remember, you are not in San Juan or a major city, YOU NEED A CAR OUT IN THIS SECTION OF THE ISLAND, ITS THE COUNTRY NOT THE BIG CITY. Or stay at the resort but RENT A GOLF CART, ITS 2700 ACRES. Advise on PR. There is so much to see and do, those who complain about PR have no idea what the island has to offer. You might see one thing that you dont like, but it doesnt mean the entire island is the same way, travel, move from area to area or attraction to attraction, see it all then when your done give your opinion. I have been there 4times in the last 10 years and I have had my ups and downs but overall dollar for dollar, beach for beach, food for restaurant and drinks even at local mom and pop shops, you can not compare to any other US TERRITORY WITH 365 DAYS OF SUN. GOOD LUCK
