Loiza Vacation Rental apartment

We were extremely pleased with this condo. It is in a gated community with 24 hour security. The furnishings are modern and in very good shape. The owner does not speak english....but he has his uncle available for communication for those who do not speak spanish. They are both very kind and helpful. You definately feel like you have your own personal concerege.

The complex is quite large, with many 3 story buildings (At least 50) and many beautifully landscaped pools and playgrounds in the courtyards between them. The rows of buildings end at a gated entrance to a private beach. It's beautiful. While we were there, there was a photographer doing a model shoot on the beach and at the pools of the condo..... for a new clothing line. It's a beautiful place. I can see why they chose it for their photo shoot.

The town the condo is in, is very poor.....but it does not reflect on the condo complex. It is how about 80% of the island is. As we traveled around, we did not see many "well to do" homes or areas. They are just kind of mixed in all over.

The locals are very frendly and helpful and though the areas looks a little rough, they are not. We found this same concept all over the island, as we were sight seeing. Everyone we talked to or delt with was very polite, helpful and kind. The locals seem to be happy your there and eager to be of assistance and helpful. They were patient with our communication skills, being we did not know spanish..... they work hard to communicate and still be helpful if they can.

I would highly recommend this complex and this owner. Both are wonderful. And the owners Uncle is quite wonderful too, for those of us that are Spanish illiterate.
