The house was quaint and comfortable and had, pretty much, all the comforts of home. We enjoyed cozy fires in the grand room and gourmet meals in the kitchen. The oversized downstairs shower -surrounded in marble - is wonderful! The internet did not respond (which was okay since we shouldn’t have been working). The owner was, however, unresponsive when we inquired about our refund for the security deposit. He stalled us for nearly two month before sending a partial credit (deducting a cleaning fee even though the lease stated it was included in the cost of the rental). Upon some uncomfortable dialogue, he did compensate us in full. Will not return.
