Enjoy year-round outdoor activities in beautiful, peaceful Stowe, Vermont! Mt. Mansfield is Vermont’s highest peak (4395') and offers a wide range of terrain for every ability level. It’s well-known for the double-black diamond (most difficult) “Front Four” trails, but also offers some of the longest intermediate cruisers in the East, and a lovely group of beginner trails in the Toll House area. Spruce Peak is geared toward beginner and intermediate skiers and riders. Although Stowe is best known for its world-class skiing and snowboarding, many visitors also enjoy all that the area has to offer in the summer and fall. Visitors have the following at their fingertips when staying in the heart of Stowe village: hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, golf, tennis, hot air balloon rides, seasonal festivals, outdoor concerts, antique shopping, the Stowe Recreation Path, fine dining, and a vibrant nightlife.

What a great condo

This condo is in the most perfect location in Stowe. It is well appointed, the color scheme is very peaceful, and the bed is the best I have ever slept in in a rental condo. Would definitly rent it again. Close to a great little market, walking distance to middle of town and great walking paths. And doors away from the best hand dipped candy, the Laughing Moon, ever.

Stowe 1st Timer

This was the first time to Stowe for my wife & I and was to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. The condo was exactly what we were looking for. Great location that gave us many options for food, shopping, and walking the dog. It's fantastic being so close the grocery store as well.

The owner was very responsive with any questions that I had prior to and during the stay.

Town of Stowe is outstanding, much better than any other New England ski town that we've visited. Our trips to the mountain for skiing were quite enjoyable as well considering the unfortunate rain that came thru the area. Unfortunately we had bad timing as the 50" of snow that hit the area the weekend before, was followed up with a lenghty round of rain the Friday we were there. The Rec Path is a great alternative to a day on the mountain.

We look forward to heading back up next year for our anniversary.

Coming from New York, we were extremely happy to find a modern condo with beautiful furniture, like the kind you see at Crate and Barrel, with a reclining leather chair, spacious dining room, a fabulous kitchen and warm bedroom. The property was immaculate, as were the plush towels and other furnishings. The owner provided a full stock of spices, tea and coffee with a great coffee pot, and other treats. It was extremely easy to find, and the owner was just a phone call away. We absolutely loved being so close to shops, art galleries, restaurants and other conveniences. We are skiers so we greatly appreciated being so close to Stowe Mountain, a short 15 minute drive. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Perfect for two (and pooch)

This was the first visit to Stowe for me and my husband. We found the condo to be warm and inviting, stocked with all of the necessities, including kitchenware. The location was perfect because you could walk to the downtown shops and restaurants after a day on the slopes. We even got takeout food from a few restaurants, so that we could watch the college bowl games in the evenings on the flat-screen TV.

Overall, a great and convenient condo for two in Stowe!

Nice place for two

First off the owner of this property was very helpful and prompt in all correspondence. The rental process was very smooth and professional.

The property was great and lived up to everything portrayed in the advertisement. Here's a quick rundown of the good and bad.

The good: This place is in the perfect spot for hitting up everything Stowe has to offer. No need to worry about parking because there is an off street spot. There is also a grocery store literally a minute walk away from the place--very nice. If you want to go skiing mountain road is right there, and the drive to Stowe is about 15 minutes. A word to the wise though, if you're thinking of going toSmuggler's Notch be aware that 108 is closed in the winter. To get to Smuggs there's a pretty substantial detour of around 40 minutes.

All the creature comforts were there and the place is perfectly sized for two. The furnishings and state of the place were impeccable.

The bad: The place took a while to heat up during our brief stay of two days. It started out at about 58 and gained about 6 degrees a day. Granted it was 5 degrees out, but the baseboard heating leaves much to be desired in the heart of winter. Prepare to be chilled for the first day or two of your (winter) stay. This is a non issue for longer stays.
