Beaches, public golf courses and miniature golf courses are nearby. Restaurants, ice cream and antique shops are within walking distance. Don't feel like going anywhere? Sit in the back yard under the umbrella and enjoy the gardens and a cold drink or shoot hoops and play badminton or volleyball.
A Great Place for a Wedding!:
Our first guests of the season in 2009 held their wedding reception at the Captain Crowell House! A party tent fit perfectly in the back yard and parking was arranged across the street. The wedding party enjoyed staying together in the large home while the guest found lodging nearby. By all accounts, a great time was held by all. We will post photos of this event as soon as we get them.

Time for a Group Retreat?:
One of our first guests in the summer of 2008 held their church retreat at the Captain Crowell House. The convenience of the location, the large private back yard, and the ability to hold separate gatherings in the parlor, dining room and living room all contributed to the success of their retreat.
A great location any time of year, consider holding your retreat at the Captain Crowell House during the off season to enjoy the awakening of Spring or the light of Autumn on the Cape.
