Located in the western Catskills, this quaint and cozy cabin sits privately on 8 acres of lakefront property. Warm tongue and groove pine interior with hardwood floors, heating and air conditioning make this home comfortable on cool nights as well as warm summer days. A full large deck with propane BBQ makes for fun cookouts. The canoe and rowboat create an irresistible lakeside retreat. On premise washer and dryer makes laundry simple. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature on Alpine Lake as it is free of motorboats. However a 5 minute drive brings you to the fully recreational Sidney Lake. Convenient to the charming village of Unadilla and Franklin and close to the college towns of Oneonta, Binghamton and Delhi. Oneonta's sights of interest include the Soccer Hall of Fame, the Oneonta Yankees Baseball Team along with wonderful restaurants and shops. A 45 minute ride to Cooperstown includes attractions such as the Baseball Home of Fame, the Fennimore Art Museum and the Farmers Museum.

Perfect getaway

The house and property are beautiful. It is the perfect vacation to just get away from it all and relax, yet still stay connected with the sat tv and wireless internet. The home has every amenity you need and the owners make you feel very comfortable. We spent the week relaxing and grilling on the back deck, and enjoying the sights of the lake. The provided row boat was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back.

This adorable house was so much more that we had expected. Lovely interior, spacious rooms, and luxury with wireless internet and satellite TV! The details were very special - beautiful art/photography throughout, a handy washer/dryer, a perfect deck for lounging and looking out over the lake, with a table and chairs for dining al fresco. While not particularly near anything (though the Beehive restaurant in Franklin is just 5 minutes, and the grilled cheese is incredible!), it was a perfect spot for our family to just spend time together grilling, fishing, canoeing and resting after a long year. Thanks for a perfect vacation, Mike and Ingrid!

We have arrived and settled in at the cabin.

What a wonderful property! We were pleasantly surprised at the ample room and layout of the cabin. Such a beautiful setting.

Thanks again for all your help and info. The directions were perfect and it was easy to get in and settle.

Looking forward to several more days here.

The lake house is wonderful. It is the most romantic spot I have ever been to. And I have been to alot of places. The attention you paid to the details of the stay made everything more enjoyable.

My wife and I love this place, and we can hardly wait to go back! It's perfect for a peaceful, romantic getaway. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the spacious deck listening to the birds sing, rowboating on the lake, and walking down the dirt road. The owners are very hospitable, and the cabin was well maintained except that the wood floors appeared to be in need of sweeping.
