We have more than 5 different adventures you can inquire about. Let us know if you want to see the side of Maui that others don't ;-)
Upcountry Maui: Rolling hills and misty mountains unfold as cool breezes carry the scent of eucalyptus throughout Upcountry Maui. Located on the high elevations around Haleakala, the fertile slopes of Upcountry are home to ranches, botanical gardens and farms with soaring views.
From early times, Hawaiians farmed the volcanic soil of the Upcountry fields, growing taro and sweet potato. Today, take a farm tour in Kula and see how Maui produces the famous Maui onion and other fresh farm-to-table ingredients for Hawaii’s finest restaurants. Discover small town Makawao, home to the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboys) and a thriving art scene. And don’t forget to drive beyond Upcountry up to Maui’s highest peak to explore the rare flora and fauna of Haleakala National Park.
I had a wonderful stay at Roger's cottage. It is bright, spacious, clean, and very comfortable! The view from the large lanai is amazing, and you still have complete privacy throughout the entire place. The property is lush and full of more fruit, herbs, spices, and vegetables than you could possibly count. The hosts are wonderful people and are always available if you need anything, have any questions, or just want a tour of the property. The location is also excellent...only a few minutes to the beach or into town. I loved staying there and may be back very soon!
We had a wonderful vacation at Rogers place. He is a perfect host and if you need help, he will help, if not then not :-) The lanai is really spacious and we enjoyed our breakfast there. The apartment is in a very good condition and has all amenities you need. We will definetly come back.
Roger was an excellent host, the apartment was very clean and bright and he even gave us a big bowl of fruit grown in his yard. My girlfriend and I would be fortunate to be able to stay again in the future!
We very much liked the appartment and enjoyed breakfast at our private terrace. Roger and Leilani have been great hosts with tons of very good suggestions for places/beaches to go and to eat. Would love to stay there again.
This condo’s quality arises chiefly from its excellent amenities, location and notably its polymathic host.
Located a few minutes east of Paia in between flourish vegetation (Mango, Banana and Starfruit trees strike the eye at first), it is an excellent starting point to explore the rest of the island. The condo itself consists essentially of a large living room, a bedroom and a very large balcony, which offers a direct view of the nearby shoreline, sunrise/sundown and the stars (at night).
Probably the most extraordinary feature of this condo is the possibility of asking the owner, who seems to know every insect, fish or tradition to be found on the Hawaiian islands. This inherently greatly enhances one’s daily trips to the beautiful island: Go to the right, and you head directly to the starting point of the road to Hana, to the right you’ll be in Kahului after a short ride.
I recommend this condo beyond the shadow of doubt!
The second time we have stayed at this location and both times were great experiences. Roger and Leilani have made a beautiful apartment overlooking the fields down to the ocean. It is kept very clean and has everything you need for a quiet getaway on the North shore yet only 5 minute drive to Paia.
The garden is full of all the local fruits and plants, which Roger will sometimes deliver fresh on occasions to the doorstep. He is also a very talented bagpiper playing local venues if you want as well! We will go back.
