The garden is right outside the back door and is private, and intimate, well designed and inspiring. The style is 'old Mexican' and has faux finished floors and walls which are 3 ft. thick adobe. There is a handcarved king size sleigh bed and comfortable furnishings as well as hand made copper sinks and efficient stacked washer and dryer. All of the things you need for a comfortable stay are in place for your use including soaps, detergents, and extra linens and utensils.
Although you have all of the comforts of a boutique hotel suite, the simplicity of its amenities is appealing to a certain simplified aesthetic. The owner does not want it to lose its historic feeling by overly modernizing it, and the home is on the historical register. Owner is an artist and walls are full of original artwork from her collection. Easel and art supplies are available on request. Maximum stay is 15 days.
There is parking in back on owners property for 2 vehicles and/or RV.
