Not so First Class Chicago

Stayed in multiple units in this brownstone during November/December. Accommodations were nice and the units were nicely furnished. Some things were, in my opinion, not up to par. It was really drafty and cold, especially in the bedrooms. It was much warmer in the living areas, which is where my little ones had to end up sleeping because it was too cold in the bedroom.
Service: In one of the units, the TV was not working; called the service number provided in the manual (where they said that they would get back "right away"); they did not call back for days - the day we were to check out of that unit! Needless to say, service was slow, so if you have a problem, you may have trouble getting it fixed.
Appliances: The washing machine is not safe to use - we unfortunately used it and had all the clothes ruined! They all have small holes in them - I assume from something snagging in the washer or dryer. One of the other units had a hole in the microwave, so we did not feel like it was safe to use. They really need to check/update their appliances.
Kitchen:The kitchen was not well stocked with cooking utensils and pots, although there we plenty of cups and a good number of plates; this is probably fine for the majority of people who go to stay there and go out to eat anyway, but not for us.
Cleanliness: good to fair. I don't like to see dust balls in the corner and crumbs and dust on the counters, so I was not too happy with the cleaning that had been done prior to our arrival. Otherwise the main traffic areas were suitable.
For most people staying there, these accommodations are probably fine, but it was not the best for us.
