We have been traveling to Kapalua for a 2 week vacation for the last 7 years on our anniversary. This year was by far the best experience in Maui we ever had. The pictures and video of this location are beautiful, but visiting this home was a real special treat. The amenities were specatacular,the decor was perfect for a vacatioin home, the house was extremely comfortable to hang out in, hanging out at home was like having a night on the town. The sunsets on the property were very special w/ my wife and 2 kids and the tiki torches really helped in adding to the ambience.
Here is what my family really appreciated about the home:
1. The view from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom are spectacular, especially w/ the sliding doors opening up to that unbelievable view.
2. The kitchen included all the necessary tools to make good meals, and the stemware (riedel) was top of the line for fine wine.
3. Home theatre system w/ a super easy remote that allowed me to toggle from TV, DVD to Wii w/ ease
4. Exclusive neigborhood w/ all the privacy anyone could ask for in a family vacation.
5. Excellent grill that made it easy to cook steak, burgers and seafood.
6. Safe, private neighborhood to play wiffle ball, fly a kite and skate board w/ out ever seeing a neighbor.
7. The pool, spa and waterfall is all you can ask for in a vacation home, water temperature was easily controlled by a wall pannel.
8. Centrally located within Kapalua beaches, golf courses, restaurants and quick trips to Lahaina for day activities. Access to shuttle was great when I didn't feel like driving.
9. Massage chair that worked out my back after a round of golf at the Plantation course.
10. Really nice people to rent from, easy to do business with them and made the trip hassle and stress free.
The description and photos of the location are accurate and all the amenities work as they should. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a spectacular vacation home to enjoy w/ family/friends in creating special memories. I hope to rent from the owners again in future years.
Thanks to the owners for making their home available to us for 15 nights. It was a vacation of a lifetime for our family.
