Beautiful Playa Casa is a sun light filled happy home. One hour drive from Chicago's loop, one of the best white sandy beaches on the great Michiana Shore. The high ceiling, sun filled great room offers many huge windows for the lakeview and elegant comfort. One big open space, a gourmet kitchen, dining room, great room and den area is very social friendly. Three(3) out door decks for dining. The front deck invites you for morning coffee or a blazing sunset, often with the Chicago skyline in sight. The master suite offers parents a private place to enjoy the lakeview and the soothing sound of the waves. The lower level game room has a Ping-Pong, Foosball table, TV and Fireplace, and also has a lakeview. The area attractions are Indiana State Dunes, Blue Chip Casino, Outlet Mall, Washington Park & Zoo, Yacht Club and Golf Course. Barbeque on the private beach deck, looking at beautiful white sandy beach on the great Lake Michigan shore. 4 car Parking (Max)

Feeling lucky? The Blue Chip Casino is a ten-minute drive. Great dining options locally and in New Buffalo, Union Pier, Michigan which is a quick 15 minute drive. Feeling adventurous? There is a skate park just five minutes away, Jet Ski rental at Washington Park beach and fishing charters by the score. If you like your adventure on foot, try the many trails and beautiful grounds at the Indiana Dunes Lakeshore State Park. The local golf courses are near by.

The 18-hole 'Long Beach' course at the Long Beach Country Club facility in Long Beach, Indiana features 6,542 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. It really is as wonderful as it looks in the pics!

This is our 3rd year renting this terrific beach house -
we love everything about it. . . It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious, and is equipped with everything you could need or want. It is a very easy house to entertain lots of friends in, but cozy enough to enjoy with just the family. The views from the house and front deck are great. The beach is right across the street and the private deck with grill is a wonderful place to eat and watch the sun set. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. If you can bring yourself to leave this perfect beach, there are lots of things to do in the area - blueberry picking, golf, antiquing in SW Michigan, 18 screen movie theater in town, casino, tennis, zoo, outlet mall, along with fun and varied restaurants. My family and I give this vacation home, and the Michigan City area, our highest recommendation!

Great Location For Family Gatherings

Our family gathered at Playa Del Casa for the third consecutive year and we continue to enjoy each day/week we gather there. It's a wonderful location and home for our family reunion. Our family loves the accomodations, cleanliness and multiple nearby attractions. Mia is on top of any questions we may have and is very responsive. Last year, we were able to play the nearby private golf course and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, the one feature that we all enjoy most is the private beach where the family spends the majority of the day. There are seldom other people on the beach which gives us the sense that it is all ours! In terms of comfort, privacy, things to do, etc. I suspect most families will find Mia's beach home to be a great vacation investment!

Great Beach !! Perfect home !

We stayed at this property for a small office getaway- 4 couples. The location is so close to Chicago and its is amazing how you can mistake it for Florida when you are sitting on the beach! The home was very well appointed. Very roomy! So many different areas in the house and outside - (patio, balcony, sun room, deck, beach) that we never felt like we were too crowded. The huge modern kitchen had everything we could have imagined needing. Cooking on the grill was the way to go! Nice grocery stores! So if peaceful sunrises, sand in your toes, bonfires on the beach, amazing sunsets, the sounds of gentle waves, grilling and chilling with friends and family are what you are looking for, this is a perfect home~ oh, and we were visited each early morning on the beach by at least a dozen deer who played and ran along the beach, right in front of us! We had a wonderful time here~

Great for family gatherings

We have rented this house the past two summers and find it to be the perfect spot to gather and spend time as a family. The house is clean, updated, has a fully equiped kitchen and great views of the lake. We also love the location. There are tennis courts down the street, outlet mall shopping nearby, great resturants and Al's supermarket close by. Whether we feel like shopping, cooking in, eating out, reading a book on the terrace, hanging out on the private beach, or playing table tennis in the basement, this place offers it all. We hope to return for many summers to come. Our only wish is that this place allowed for well-behaved small dogs.

Restful and fun

This was a perfect place for our adult-only family reunion. The beds were comfortable and the open kitchen, living room, dining room area was a great gathering spot. We enjoyed the views of the lake from the dining room as well as the beautiful views from the beach table and the front porch. The skylit extra room was a welcome spot to read or chat. We enjoyed the beautiful beach, as well. If the opportunity comes, we would rent Playa Casa Longbeach again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
