Enjoy sweeping panoramic ocean views from this luxury oceanfront condominium atop the Dana Point Headlands. Located in the renowned “Gold Coast” region of south Orange County, this unit overlooks Strands Beach - just one-quarter mile south of the famed Ritz Carlton Hotel and Salt Creek Beach Park, immediately north of the Dana Point Harbor. The living room features sliding doors that allow sit-down whitewater views of Strands Beach and beyond. Winter months bring whale watching and views of the snow-capped Big Bear Mountain in the distance.

Furnishings include a sectional sofa, island-style wicker chairs, and a 47” LCD HDTV with a Blueray DVD/CD player. The master bedroom includes Tommy Bahama tropical beddings and a California King size bed. Our beach access is only three doors away, and we have everything you need for the beach: sand chairs, umbrella, beach towels, coolers, boogie boards and sand toys for the kids. Come and enjoy !

Location: We're located near the end of Dana Strand Road 'on' Dana Point just next to The Strands community which features homes in the $7 to $15M range. Also note that the Dana Point Headlands was recently voted Orange County's top natural wonder.

About The Owner

I've been surfing and paddling for over 40 years and have spent many years lifeguarding and running junior lifeguard programs and surf camps. My 'real' jobs are in telecom consulting and property management.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1996

I grew up on the east coast and my family owned beachfront properties and did some vacation rentals. We settled on this property for the amazing views, beautiful year-round climate, and proximity to fantastic beaches. We live minutes away and will help you find the best restaurants and activities to make your stay one to remember.

We are adjacent to the Dana Point Marine Life Refuge and have hiking trails at the end of our street. Dana Point Harbor is a popular destination for Stand-up Paddleboards (SUP). We have been involved with the sport for nearly a decade and will be glad to assist with beginning through advanced lessons and rentals. We also LOVE to surf and can help plan your area surfing adventures by helping you find the best spot based on your skill level.

Great Time!

We loved our stay over spring break 2013. It was still a little chilly so the warm pool protected from wind and the amazing views made it a perfect stay! There was only one other family there during this time so we almost had the entire complex to ourselves. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We will definitely go back!

Fantastic property...highly recommended!!!

My husband and 20 month old son just stayed here for a short getaway weekend. Chris, the owner, went out of his way to accomodate us and welcome us to his rental property. He even set up one of the twin beds with a bedrail for my son. The condo was extremely clean and is well-stocked. It was very quiet at night. The beach toys, chairs and beach towels were a great addition! But the best part of this condo is the VIEW. The pictures cannot do it justice. Waking up to this view every morning and hearing the waves crashing at night, while we had a fire going in the fireplace was amazing. The heated pool is also fabulous. I cannot say enough about this property owner and the condo itself. Stay here! You won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about how amazing not only the condo was but also the owners. They went above and beyond to make sure my fiance and I had the BEST experience. I have a difficult time trying to always find the perfect place to stay when finally getting the chance to go on vacation and I have to say this was a blessing from God. The view is beyond belief and it is close to everything! I am a runner and having the perfect weather and views, every day was an adventure.

The sunsets were a dream and increase the already romantic atmosphere. Also, the activity recco sheet that the owners provide give a great idea of what is available in all the surrounding areas (and they share the top choices).

I sincerely hope you consider this property as we will most certainly be back, each year. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, but believe me, you will be blown away and NEVER get a better deal on such a priceless experience.

What a place!

As SoCal natives we were looking for a place to escape the crowds for a weekend and reconnect as a family. What we found here was so much more! Early morning walks on the gorgeous, uncrowded beach, fun in the heated pool, learning to paddleboard in the harbor, playing in the surf & sand and soaking in the majestic views. Definitely one of the best family vacations ever! Chris (the owner) was the ultimate host, going out of his way to make our stay unforgettable. You will not be disappointed with your vacation stay here.

we have stayed at this property several times and you can't beat the view. the owners go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and provide many extra services and amenities including beach equipment, kids toys and games, advise on local events, restaurants, activities, etc. The place is always very clean which is a very important factor also. The surrounding area is beautiful also and so peacefully quiet especially at night. We highly recommend this property.
