Lake Ariel Vacation Rental house

My girlfreinds and I needed to get away and this was the perfect place. The house was clean and had a lot of lighting. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space. Loved the pool table and bar downstairs. The owners were very nice and prompt. They would email you back right away and take care of anyof your needs. The people in the community were very pleasant. You don't have to go far to find things to do. You could walk to the beach. I will deffinitely be back.

This past summer (2009) was the 2nd year that myself and 11 of my friends rented this home. We stayed last year for 3 days and 2 nights and this year we stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. The place was absolutely perfect for us, being college students. There was plenty of place for the 12 of us to sleep, and the grill was perfect for making food. The deck is wonderful with chairs and a table and we were all able to enjoy the outdoors. The indoors were also enjoyable with the 2 levels. The guys were able to relax, play pool and watch sports downstairs while the girls hung out upstairs and listened to music with the iPod speakers and could watch movies upstairs. With so many people, the 2 bathrooms definitely helped. It was also convenient that the owners provided us for towels, sheets, silverware, plates, cups, etc. The facilities such as the pool and lake were lots of fun. For about $5 a person, we were able to go out on the lake and either go on the paddleboat or rowboat. It was tons of fun and definitely a home that we would recommend to friends. We are all making this an annual summer vacation and cannot wait to get our "Poconos Crew" together to come back!

This is a wonderful property. The furnishings are modern, clean and very comfortable. The home is in a great location within the Hideout and accessible to all. The owners are super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely stay here again and I am actually planning on staying another weekend this summer.
