Chalet Refugium is fantastic. As a Canadian and having grown up in the Rockies, I thought i knew mountains, but Wengen is outstanding and the Refugium is cozy and warm. Thank you for a great time!

We and our 4 kids have been staying many winter vacations at the Refugium.
The Chalet is family friendly and the ski conditions outstanding. The 2 smallest children can go to ski school all day so the older ones and us can enjoy the long runs.

Wengen, ideally situated in the ski center Kleine Scheidegg - Männlichen with its famous Lauberhorn and Eigergletscher runs, is one of the most attractive and popular winter sport villages in Switzerland. Every year in January, Wengen hosts the Lauberhorn Downhill Ski Race - surely the most spectacular race of the whole world cup circuit. For the non - skier Wengen offers relaxation in pure mountain air and many hours of sunshine are guaranteed, even in winter.
