A beautiful town house resort in the heart of Stowe, Vermont at the Village Green Resort, located just off Mountain Rd. Next to Stowe Golf and Country Club (18-hole open to the public), Stowe golf school, Stoweflake award winning Spa, several restaurants/shops. Only 10 minutes to Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest mountain, providing outstanding terrain for skiers/snowboarders/hikers. The nationally acclaimed Stowe Recreation Path, with direct access from the town home complex, winds through the Village with miles of unspoiled landscape and easy access to shops and restaurants while hiking, biking or skating in the warm months and cross country skiing in the winter. During the ski season, there is scheduled daily shuttle service, which stops within the complex, to and from the ski areas and throughout the Village.

The Village Green Resort condominium is located just off the Mountain Road in Stowe, Vermont. It is next to the Stowe Country Club, the Stoweflake Spa, the Stowe Golf school, and the 7 mile hiking/bike trail. There is a large pool and fitness complex 5 minutes away. The town has an indoor ice skating rink. Cross-country skiing is nearby. It is a 10 minute drive to the Stowe Ski area, or you can take the free shuttle from the condo complex. You can walk to many shops, restaurants, DVD rental store, and along the river it is a beautiful 40 minute walk or 15 minute bike ride to town. The Rusty Nail with evening bands is also a short walk. Summer activities of hiking, swimming in water falls, rental canoes and kayaks at nearby lakes and rivers, Ben and Gerry ice cream factory tours, Cider Mill tours, and Vermont Teddy Bear Company are all nearby. There are many summer festivals and concerts.

Ski Details: Our condo is a great value located in the Village Green Complex with many amenities such as in-door/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, dressing room and hot showers, game room, etc. The skiing was awesome last year and Stowe is better than ever with its expert grooming, snow making, and snowboard park. Our condo is within walking distance to restaurants, spa, cross country skiing, and only 6 miles from the slopes with shuttle service available within the complex.

Golfers Paradise: Our condo is next to the 15th tee, fairway and green. The Stowe Golf & Country Club is across the street. Great views! Plenty of storage space for golf clubs, coats, etc. in our roomy mud room.

Great Relaxing Get-a-way: You can walk to everything. The Stowe Recreation Trail runs right by the Village Green resort, where you can walk, ride bicycles, skate board, roller blade, etc. Restaurants, night clubs and recreation rentals are within walking distance. This spacious 2 bedroom townhouse has great views of Mt. Mansfield from the front with spectacular sunsets, and of the 15th tee, fairway and green from the back.

Great value and location

I have to echo the prior great reviews. My family of four stayed at this spacious condo for a week in August and found it perfect for us. The location (we had a car) is great and the front desk staff was very helpful. Dealing with the owner was a pleasure. We especially liked the tennis courts and indoor pool, since the outdoor pool was too cold for us Floridians.
Owner's Response: We continue to get 5/5 reviews for our spacious, welcoming condo/townhome, as well as the resort staff, recreation areas and beautiful grounds with great views, especially the magnificent sunsets. If that isn't enough, we are within walking distance to both recreation trails, restaurants, video stores, etc. and the weekly farmers market (in season). For skiers, we are 10 minutes to the mountain, and we have a view of Mt. Mansfield from the front of our condo. It is truely a 4 season place to stay!

Two night stay in Stowe at Village Green

We stayed at this condo for two nights prior to another week somewhere else. The condo was very clean and centrally located. It was great to be near a really cool bike path. A nice surprise was having food seasonings while you're on vacation so that cooking felt like at home! Although the outdoor pool is not heated, the indoor pool made for a good replacement for our kids. Since we did have a fairly hot week, the outdoor pool warmed up and we all went in!

The owner was extremely accomodating with my request and inquiries which was at the last minute, so she was very helpful.

Comfortable Condo for Four

The description was very accurate. The condo was spacious, kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The amenities offered were great (recreation center included indoor and outdoor pools, ping pong, billiards, and some video/pinball games). We enjoyed playing Frisbee in the spacious backyard field, and the proximity to the Bike Path was convenient! Don't forget to ask at the front desk for the discount coupons for local area merchants. We saved a few bucks on clothing, food, etc. The owner was very nice, and timely in responding to our request. This condo is a great value! Eating in Stowe is expensive. For good beer and food go to Waterbury: The Alchemist and the Reservoir. You won't be disappointed.
Owner's Response: We are in the heart of all the action - recreation trails, stores, farmers market, movies, mt. mansfield and all it has to offer. There is an exceptional backyard adjacent to the gold course. The Village Green Townhomes are the only homes on The Stowe Golf course, and you can walk over and golf. It is a great all season place to be!

Exceeded My Expectations

The condo was immaculate and welcoming- the kitchen was stocked with everything one could need. The mud room was great for our ski equipment, and the layout was spacious and perfect for our family of 5.
The beds were comfortable, and the owner was a pleasure to deal with.
The recreation facilities were extremely well maintained and also immaculate- my kids really enjoyed the swimming, ping pong, pool table and video games. It was an easy drive to the mountain and restaurants.

Christmas vacation was truley enjoyed here by all!

This was a great place for our family of 5. Perfect location,very clean and spacious, and would highly recommend to stay. People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful(choosing places to eat!!). Loved the laundry option w/ the pool and game room. I don't ski but had no problems finding things to do...shopping, esp. at the Well Heeld boutique(on the way to the mt.), visited Ben&Jerry's(waited too long though just to get ice cream!),and Cabot.
The restaurants I would recommend are Pie in the Sky, The Shed but not the Sunset Grille. We did eat eat at the condo alot which was very acommdating for a large group. There were other people staying within the resort and we all took turns hosting together.
I would also recommend using the facilities at Stoweflake...fitness room and the spa.
We felt our vacation went by too fast(5 nites) and would definitely love to stay here again!!!
