The 2nd king master suite is located on this lower level and offers a writing desk with views through large windows. The 4th bedroom is also located on this level.
Larger parties will love the option of doubling up with the Barefoot Retreat cabin, located just across the road and offering two queen bed suites with separate baths and a sleeper sofa in the living room (see VRBO #154835). My family and I spent 4 wonderful days/nights at this amazing place. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for two adults, two children, and our Catahoula/husky mix.
There is not one negative thing that I can say about this place......
Eight friends and I comfortably shared Climbing Bear for a weekend while attending a wedding at Hightower Creek Vineyards, which is a short drive down the mountain. The cabin was clean and cozy and met our needs. The setting was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub but didn't have time to take advantage of many of the other amenities. Marsha was wonderful in giving us detailed directions and instructions. We ventured into Hiawassee for a couple of meals, but unfortunately didn't get to explore. Only complaints would be that we were nearly out of toilet paper after being there for 24 hours so I would suggest bringing your own, and the wifi internet was so slow it wasn't useful (not sure if that's normal or it was a short-term glitch). I would certainly considering staying again if I find myself returning.
First i want to say that Marsha is wonderful to deal with! And i don't know her personally but my experience with her was great!!!! She is VERY sweet and she will help you in anyway possible.... You can't say that about many people that are in this business!
The cabin was beatiful very cozy and comfortable. Its been the best cabin I've been to and we will definitely go back! When we went it snowed, more than anything we just relaxed this time which was great! :) . There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas or you can just relax like we did!
The cabin is very spacious and very well kept!
We ate at Zeppellins and their hamburgers are good!
Thank you again Marsha!
We enjoyed our stay so much. We had four generations together and we were all very comfortable. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed and more.

Thanks for the use of your cabin. It is clean and well furnished. We stayed the week of the 4th of July. We enjoyed the time we were there. It was relatively cool and rainy most of the time so we never used the hot tub but it did look inviting. For families with children, this is a good place to go. The master bedroom is on a separate floor from the other bedrooms giving the chance of quiet time to sleep. If you want a quiet, clean, well furnished place to relax, this cabin is an ideal place. Good area for parking. The directions to the cabin were very good. We were sad to leave.
This is the second time that we have stayed in this cabin and we loved it as much the second time as the first. The listing information, the photos of the cabin are very accurate. This cabin is very clean and well maintained. We were able to cook many of our meals at the cabin. We simply stopped at Ingles and picked up the groceries for our stay. The cookware, dishes, etc were plenty for our needs. We are already planning our next stay.
