New in “08” the Country Cabin. 3 bedrooms 2 baths. Full porches on front and back, rear has enclosed, screened porch. Open floor plan for kitchen, dining, and living room. 9” wide pine plank floor. Knotty pine tongue & grove ceiling. 42” plasma in living room. Kitchen has all premium appliances, granite counter tops.Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and baking. ___Master bath has separate shower and Jacuzzi tub, two bowl sink, custom stone work. Large loft area upstairs with extra bed. Bed arrangements are as follows: Two rooms with queens. One room with bunk beds and a full. Loft has pull out full. Sleeps 8 comfortably/10 with loft, ***Central Air for summertime. House is located in Locust Lake Village. Rt. 940 in Pocono Lake, PA. 10 min. from Jack Frost Ski area. 20 Min from The Crossings Outlets and Camel beach, 15 Min from the Mount Airy Slot Casinos. Full finished basement coming in the Fall '09'with xtra Bedroom, dry bar and frig and gameroom/entertaining area.

Locust Lake Village is located on rt 940 approx 10 miles east of the PA turnpike exit #95. The town is Pocono Lake, PA. Generally considered 1 hr. 40 min from Philly, Approx 2 hrs. from NYC.

Locust Lake Village: Partially gated community is about 75% vacation renters. Village has several lakes that are stocked with trout. Lake also has bass and northern pike along with many pan fish. Owner will provide access to a canoe stored at the lake. Lakes have lifeguarded swimming area with sandy beaches. Bottom of swimming area is also sandy. Safe swimming area for young children. Floating dock for sunbathing. Full bathroom facilities and snack bar that provides drinks and snacks including hot dogs, pizza, nachos, ice cream...... shaded picnic area with tables and charcoal grills. Horseshoe pits and shuffleboard also available. Village has lit tennis and basketball courts. To use amenities village requires guests 5 yrs. to purchase guest badges. Cost is $6 per day or $30 per week/per person. WINTER ACTIVITIES: Village has its own ski hill with T-bar lift. Chalet at ski hill has snacks, Wi Fi, and a big sceen TV. Lit sleeding/ tubing hill, and lit skating pond.......all are weather dependent.

My boyfriend and I spent a night in October here. We had a VERY relaxing and great time. We absolutely loved the house-the fireplace, the Jacuzzi tub in the master bath, the barbecue, the porches- all that made our stay really romantic and enjoyable. The house was perfectly clean, brand new and super homey and comfortable. The owner, Michael, was so helpful, friendly and patient with us and he handled well my initially suspicious attitude, since it was my first time renting a property advertised online. He responded quickly to all my emails and was available to answer his phone and help us get into the house when we arrived.
We checked in later in the afternoon on a Friday but he offered us to check out later on Saturday, which worked great for us.We cooked dinner on the grill and relaxed by the fire in the evening. The kitchen is fully supplied with everything you might need. Next day we had a delicious breakfast in one of the local restaurants after which we hiked trails in Hickory Run State Park and went horseback riding at the Deer Path Stable.
We would recommend this property to families, couples and friends looking for a relaxing, yet fun time in the mountains. We are definitely looking forward to spend another weekend when there is snow outside.
