Best Stay on A1A Great fall Rates!

I had never rented a beach house from a complete stranger and I was pretty skeptical. I looked over the pictures, other reviews, and spoke with Ricky (the owner/manager of the property) many times before we decided that this house would work out well for me, my husband, another couple and friends. I was most excited about the 2 identical master bedrooms because we didn't want to "fight" over the best room! Ricky called a few times before the trip just to make sure we didn't have any questions and to go over the logistics of check-in, etc. When we got to the house my jaw dropped! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures showed! It was beautifully decorated, but it was still VERY comfortable and it definitely felt like our home away from home for the week! We had all of our favorite TV channels, internet, but most importantly a magnificent view of the ocean, beach access within steps, and the most luxurious rooms and bathrooms! There was not anything to do within walking distance, but we loved that because we had the beach completely to ourselves! I am an early riser, so I loved getting up and watching the sun rise on the deck with a cup of coffee and a great book! We went out to great restaurants in St. Augustine and Vilano Beach every night, and Ricky had great recommendations! The only place that I wouldn't recommend was the Harbor View Cafe (a breakfast place in downtown St. Augustine). The staff was pretty rude and there weren't any tables for parties of 5 or more. They basically told us to leave because we had 5 people. It was fine though because we found another great breakfast place called the Bunnery!
Ricky provided everything we could have needed and more! There was a great closet downstairs full of beach toys, games, and everything you could have ever needed on the beach! The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch! There is a great new Publix about 5-10 minutes from the property where we stocked up on groceries for the week! I can't think of anything that we would have changed! We are very excited to plan our trip here for next year and make it a tradition!
