The Secret Garden Casita is situated in a turn of the century compound a block away from the historic Guadalupe District with restaurants, unique shops, and farmers market. Less than a half mile walk to the Plaza, the heart of Santa Fe, with galleries, museums, restaurants, outdoor markets, shops. Canyon Road, Santa Fe’s art community, is within walking distance. A short drive takes you to the famous flea market, world class opera, ski area, and casinos. The Secret Garden Casita is beautifully and comfortably furnished and features a fireplace, unique decorative tile, beautiful front and side entrances, skylights, and vigas throughout. An enchanting walled garden offers several seating areas to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing and is accessible from the bedroom through French doors or front entrance. Enjoy roses, apple tree, and other delightful flowering vines, herbs, ornamental shrubs while having coffee, cocktails or meals at the unique hand carved wooden table and chairs.

This casita is conveniently located, decorated adorably and very comfortable for a couple. (as long as you're close to each other! It's a very intimate place) The listing is accurate and you have everything that you need. Loved the rooftop terrace and walled gardens. I walked everywhere during my visit. Lots of great art galleries and restaurants. I definitely recommend to anyone.

We loved this place! The New Mexico style and decorating was charming and well done. We loved getting a little sun in the patio -- and the good exercise of walking everywhere. Try "Mauka" restaurant, less than a block away. It deserves its award for the Best Restaurant 2008. Thanks!

My husband and I loved this little casita, a short walk to the plaza and very close to the Railyard district. We had a couple of fires in the fireplace and ate breakfast in every day. Everything was as described. It was clean, well maintained and very charming. Quite a deal for expensive Santa Fe. We would stay there again.

The casita is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It is an approximate 10 minute walk to downtown. The parking in the driveway is convenient and the garden is delightful for meals and relaxing. It needs more window screens for ventilation in living room since there is no A/C, but there are ceiling fans. It has a well-equipped kitchen and lots of storage- walk-in closet in bedroom. We had a very pleasant stay there. We felt comfortable and at home.
