Cortijo La Nava is a beautifully restored, typical rustic Spanish farmhouse surrounded by rolling olive groves, mountains & spectacular scenery. Cortijo La Nava comprises two separate units which can be rented individually or as one. The 'Farmhouse' for up to 10 guests & the 'Granary' for 4 - 6 guests. Both units have fully equipped kitchens, satellite TV, DVD/CD & for those with lap-tops,free wi-fi connection. The Farmhouse has 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms (2 being ensuite) a kitchen, dining room & a comfortable lounge. The Granary is on one level and comprises 2 double bedrooms, bathroom & an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner. The Granary has a private courtyard with a BBQ & patio furniture. The beautiful enclosed garden has a large pool, various patios, a boule terrain & shady areas. Sunlongers, umbrellas, a hammock, garden furniture, a large BBQ & garden games are provided for your enjoyment. These facilities are shared but for a small cost, Farmhouse guests can have sole occupancy.

The Granary is on one level and comprises 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, beautifully restored and renovated retaining many original features including original beams. There is a private courtyard with barbecue facilities and patio furniture. Fully centrally heated for winter bookings.

We are situated 4 minutes drive from a lovely pueblo unspoilt by tourism, with ventas, bars, restaurant, disco, chemist and a 24-hour medical centre. The local people are very friendly and welcoming. We are within easy reach of the motorway which links Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. Visit Granada and the magnificent Alhambra Palace, within the hour. Cordoba, where the world-famous Mezquita, the Moorish mosque is located. Skiing and mountain biking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the wonderful city of Seville are all within two hours drive. Closer to home you can visit the nearby town of Antequera, the magnificent limestone gorge and lakes in El Chorro, the prehistoric dolmen caves and El Torcal Park Nature Reserve. You could also relax and have a coffee in the famous eight sided plaza and take in the history of local town Archidona. The beaches of the Costa del Sol are also within only one hours drive, making Cortijo La Nava the ideal setting for a perfect holiday.

The Granary - Cortijo La Nava

We have just spent 3 marvelous weeks in the Granary. It has been renovated to a high standard, including beautiful tiling to the bathroom. Attention to detail and quality is obvious everywhere. The property was very clean and well maintained. Its in a stunning location on the edge of the village, only 30 minutes from Malaga and an hour from Granada. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and two children. The outdoor area and the pool are just wonderful. A great location!! I would also like to thank Vicky and Dave for being excellent hosts. I would recommend this property to everyone.

My husband and I have just spent a fantastic week staying in David and Vicky's rustic "The granary". What an amazing place , rustic, peacefull, amazing location , great pool and excellent hosts. Full marks , will definitely be back with our new baby and family as soon as we can,
