We LOVED Casa Amanacer!!
We stayed at Casa Amanacer in January of 2011 and had a GREAT time! This was shortly after the landslide, so the Casa looked a bit different than in the photos but it was a great fit for our group, nonetheless. The landslide seemed to have taken quite a toll on the greenery surrounding the Casa, but it didn't diminish it's charm or comfort. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room to come together or to have a bit of privacy. The casita is gorgeous and I loved falling asleep listening to the waves and waking up to the birds....not to mention feeling like you're showering in the jungle!
We cooked in most nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The housekeeper came regularly and the gardener came by three times during the week to water the plants and keep the dipping pool clean. At one point, we started to run low on water, but a quick call to the management was all it took and we had more water delivered within an hour.
For all seven of us, this was our first trip to Sayulita and we couldn't believe how we lucked out on location. Casa Amanacer is situated perfectly to allow a bit of privacy but is still just a quick walk to town or to the beach (five to ten minutes). We did not have any problems with security or theft (although we did make good use of the safe for laptops, cameras, money and passports).
We were celebrating a birthday and had wonderful evenings hanging by the pool, grilling out...and even had a pinata on the deck for the big day. We loved Casa Amanacer and can't wait to get back!
Highly recommended!!!
