Surry-Located on Union Bay. Built right on the water's edge!! This beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has floor-to-ceiling windows and a gorgeous hardwood floor in the living room. Each bedroom has a queen bed. Newly refinished kitchen and bathroom with Corian counter top. Just off the living room you will find a deck from which to enjoy fabulous views looking east towards Cadillac Mountain. This house also offers a covered screened porch and a hot tub on the lower level at oceans edge. The lower yard has chairs for sitting and enjoying the first sighting of seals or launching a kayak to get a rush of ocean adrenaline. Come enjoy a piece of nature like no other.

Enjoy all that the tourist spot has to offer or spend the week hiding from civilization in your cozy cottage on the ocean. Jump in a kayak and view the wildlife whether it be eagles soaring in the air or seals by your side. Enjoy coffee on the deck and a lobster feast at night.

    check in time 4p.m. Check out time 10a.m.
    50% deposit is required upon booking. Remainder of balance due 60 days in advance of check in date. Deposit refunded minus $200.00 if canceled within 30 days of booking.
    There is a nonrefundable $50.00 insurance policy to cover Damages up to $500.00 or a $250.00 damage deposit with reservation.
    7% state lodging tax required.

my family and i stayed at this lovely home last week.
it was wonderful, watching the seals in the morning while having coffee, the views in every direction are perfect. the house is lovely, furnished beautifully and we own a restaurant and my husband kep commenting how well supplied the kitchen was and that he had everything he really needed. we rent from vrbo and homeaway all the time and this was the best house we have had. we normally do not return to places because there are too many things to see, but this is a "must return!"

We loved our stay at the cottage, so peaceful & relaxing.
We saw seals, ducks and ospreys from the deck. Sunrises were magical and yes we were up that early, not to be missed. We had fresh cooked lobster from Perry at the pound a few steps away, I have never tasted lobster that good.
The cottage was clean & welcoming, I loved the kitchen which met all my needs as a keen cook. We made good use of the gas BBQ.
When we needed to contact the owner, she responded very quickly and dealt with everything.
We hope to return to enjoy it all again.

The Perfect Spot

This cottage was even more than we expected! Leave your troubles at the doorstep! The minute you walk through the door, the views of the bay stun you! We saw the most incredible sunrises and sunsets. Nature abounds! Whales, dolphins, seals, heron, egrets, eagles, loons, ducks and songbirds. Mussells right from the water! We collected sea glass and saw starfish. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sun come up! Swimming right off the porch! When we did come inside the furnishings are lovely and comfortable. As I told the owner, the hardest part of the vacation was leaving to sightsee...it is all here!
P.S. Did I mention that a few doors down there is a lobster pound? Perry will cook the lobster for you right there, and you can eat on the dock, or you can take it home. We had him cook for us our first night...2# lobsters, mussells and the sweetest corn you ever had...we took it home and ate it on the deck while we watched the loons and seals!

Very nice time - Quiet, relaxing. Everything we were looking for and more.
The house has GREAT views and is outfitted for all your wants.
Nice kitchen, great balcony with grill and all the needs of home.
Walked a little ways down and had fresh lobster off the boat.
We will return.
