Daytona Beach Vacation Rental condo

We enjoyed staying in this condo. The layout is very nice and even though it looks out over the roof of the hotel, we could see both the ocean and the city so that was nice. We liked having the balcony off both the living room and the bedroom. It let in both light and air. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice too. The kitchen was adequate. When we rent a condo we normally eat the majority of our meals in the condo so this was especially important to us but if you eat out a lot then it probably won't matter to you.

I would recommend staying here because of the location and facilities at the resort but there are a couple of things you might want to bring with you. Dish drainer (as there is no dishwasher), toaster (there is a toaster oven but no toaster), small cutting board, electric griddle or electric frypan for cooking. Also bring a couple of beach towels as the hotel will not give you any.

As far as the hotel, the pools and hot tubs were very nice. The hotel was not crowded even though it was Race Week. The location is very good, close to shopping (Publix grocery store across the street and Great Shark souvineers). The speedway is a quick 10 minute drive. Also the dog races & flea market. We had a great vacation and would stay here again.
