Enjoy our newly renovated Home! Every thing is brand new! It is the first floor of a beautiful townhouse in the historic Bass River area of South Yarmouth. Fully-equipped kitchen and walk-in pantry; the great room is bright and includes a dining table for 6 and a living area with TV/DVD/VCR entertaining, high-speed internet, and an iPod docking station with speakers. There is also a 2nd sitting room in the front of the property surrounded by windows with a futon, perfect for overnight guests, a quiet reading area, or a 2nd entertaining space. The front deck has seating for a meal or entertaining and there is also a more private, charming fenced-in back yard with gas grille. Walk to restaurants and Dunkin' Donuts for coffee. And, if you love to golf, the Bass River Golf Club is just around the corner. Less than 2 miles to the beautiful beaches of Nantucket Sound!

A Memorable Vacation

This home suited our family of four (my husband and two adult daughters) perfectly.

We spent many hours on the outdoor deck off the kitchen reading and having morning coffee (a Dunkin' Donuts is within walking distance on Route 28) and afternoon drinks (a package store is walkable, too).

Inside the home, the roomy living-dining area (great dining room table that seats 6-8 easily) and ample sunroom provided plenty of space to spread out and comfortably accommodate other family visitors and friends who stopped by.

WIFI was a welcome amenity as was the dishwasher and washer/dryer combination. Also, it was nice to be able to catch a few matches at the US Open on the cable television.

Beaches, charming Cape Cod homes, and a flat, scenic running route were just across Route 28. Bike and kayak rentals were minutes away by car, as was the two-hour Bass River cruise that coincidentally disembarked at an outdoor seafood restaurant at lunch time.

The property was clean, well-appointed and well-maintained (the pictures on the web site are a very accurate representation of the space) and the owner couldn't have been more pleasant or accommodating. For anyone who doesn't have to be right on the beach and wants to be close to everything, I - and my family - highly recommend this home away from home.

Perfect for families

My husband andI enjoyed staying at this property with our four year old son. It was close to everything, updated and clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. We felt like there could have been another couple with us or a few more kids and it wouldn't have felt cramped. The washer/dryer, dishwasher, and On Demand cable made it a pleasure to travel with a child and it still felt like we had a romantic getaway. This property's owner was a DREAM to deal with and made a last minute vacation a breeze! She was courteous, prompt, and warm while providing us with privacy and her availability for any of our needs or desires. We WILL be back! Thanks SO much, Parris!!

Escape To The Cape!

We had been admiring this home for some time and were unsure if it was a rental. When we came across the photo on the website, we were estatic, as the price was in our budget. The apartment was just what we were looking for in terms of location, size and layout. Everything was neat and clean and the furnishings were cozy and modern. It felt like home right from the start. The large front deck has more than enough room to stretch out and sunbath, as there is a lot of natural light throughout the day. Our time went quickly, as all vacations do, but are hoping to return here each summer. The caretakers are lovely people and are always a (local) phone call away if you have questions or needs. The place is a gem for those who are looking to be in town and still a short distance to the many nearby beaches and great restaurants. It is also a great area for anyone who likes to walk, as the sidewalks are well maintained thoroughout the neighborhoods and main roads.The home is a stones throw from Route 28, which is the main artery to all the fun activities that the mid-cape has to offer - there's something for everyone!
