This artists two story residence has it all for casual elegance. The first floor reception area, living room, formal dining room and kitchen are beautifully furnished and appointed. The three first floor bedrooms are fresh, colorful and comfortable and all are equipped with ceiling fans or a/c. Outside, the covered patio area offers shade for relaxing while you chat with your friends swimming in the glorious private pool with waterfall. At night, grilling by the lighted pool is a tropical dream come true! Upstairs the 1000 sq. ft terrace offers breathtaking views of the coast. Accessed by the broad wrought iron staircase, the second floor library opens to panoramic ocean views. The adjacent master bedroom is huge with three sets of French doors leading to front and rear patios overlooking gardens and ocean. The grand master bath is a spa retreat with a large soaking tub and separate shower. This is a true vacation dream house! A coral reef protects the beach at the bottom of the hill.

My family and I stayed for memorial weekend 2009. We had a great stay. My daughter felt as it was truly a home away from home. The Careys' were very welcoming and had all the accomodations a hotel would have and then some. From pool accessories, cable, movies, a bbq to a stocked kitchen with utensiles, flatware pot and pans. The works.
I would definitly reccomend to all my friends and family and would love to rent again.
Note: Bring mosquito spray. I also recommend that you keep the bedroom doors shut while not using them to keep the mosquitoes at bay.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: When there is an exceptional amount of rain such as we had at the end of May this year there is always the chance to have mosquitos.
We will continue to make sure there is a supply of Off, etc. in the laundry room and we will put a note in the "Wild Ginger" Villa Guide regarding the bedroom doors. Thanks for the suggestion!

Everything was wonderful

My family and I stayed at the Wild Ginger in July, 2009. The house is absolutely beautiful and it truly feels like being home. Tom and Sue are great hosts, and they provide a lot of information for you about the area, as well as being there for you at all times, just a phone call away. We loved the pool, since Puerto Rico in the sumertime can be hot, hot, hot. Having the grill outside was great in order to avoid having to cook indoors (although we did that, too). My family loved having a comfortable house to come home to after a day of tiring sightseeing. Rest assured that you will not be disappointed in the Wild Ginger!

Wonderful sisters week

We spent a wonderful week in Puerto Rico at Wild Ginger. My sisters and I enjoyed the wonderful view, pool, and comfort of the house. We relaxed each evening for remembering our childhood (a long time ago) and laughed a lot. Tom and Sue were perfect hosts and provided us with a lot of great memories to look back on.

This is a place we all would recommend..

Relaxing Getaway

Tom and Sue were wonderful hosts. They greeted us at the door and gave us a tour of the home. The house was beautiful and felt like home. We spent mornings at the beach and the afternoons in the beautiful pool. We enjoyed coffee on the terrace in the morning and grilled out at the pool and sipped pina coladas at night. Tom and Sue even had bottled water in the refridgerator for us. It was a very relaxing place to stay.

A Beautiful Home With A Beatiful View -5 STAR

We stayed at the "Wild Ginger" luxury home in Camuy, P. R. for 1 week in May. The view of the ocean is as spectacular as the spacious house. The upstairs master bedroom has a sitting room with a wonderful ocean breeze, a great place to sit in the early morning to read a daily devotional or some scripture. The back yard has a beautiful pool along with a garden with a variety of tropical plants a nice place to sit around and talk with your family and friends. Tom and Sue the owners were very hospitable. They made sure everything was perfect for our stay. I want to thank them for a pleasant stay and we look forward to coming back to "Wild Ginger". If you are looking for a nice quiet getaway spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city I recommend staying at "Wild Ginger"
