Amenities: Very friendly resort with beautiful grounds, Koi ponds & waterfall, 2 heated pools, 2 spas, work out room, putting green, billiard, ping pong, library, laundry rooms, secured parking and security. Bicycle lockers. Play in the sand, ride the surf, hang at the jetties and at the harbor- take a boat ride, rent a canoe/kayak, go fishing, see the whales, visit local eateries. Our former home is a great base to enjoy doing nothing on sandy beaches, rock jetty climbing, strolling, running, roller blading, bike riding, surfing, pier & deep sea fishing, mariner strolling, sailing, whale watching, visits to Carlsbad's Legoland, Escondido Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo & Balboa Park, XGames sporting events, Pro-Golf & Tennis matches, numerous golf courses, The Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse world class theatre arts. Enjoy a days trip La Jolla Cove, Baja, Mexico, Orange County to the north for Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Laguana Arts Festival. So many places to visit and things to do but not enough time for a week .. so if your inclined spend the Fall and/or Winter or both at our nicely appointed penthouse / loft (rate upon inquiry).

Weather and tides vary ... but the sand is clean, the access is easy and it is a conveniently located base while scoping out Southern California and Baja, Mexico.
