Enjoy the Historic downtown Chippewa Falls from the Leinenklen's Brewery, Wissota State Park, wineries, bike and walking trails. Bring your boat to fish over 6,000 acres or choose to fish right off the dock. Lake host Muskie, Northern, Walleye, Bass and many other types waiting to strike your hook. Choose a day on the lake and stop by one of many restaurants on the lake or top off your tank with gas. Paddle across the bay and enjoy the sand beach at Wissota State Park or go water ski and tubing. Canoe and boat lift included. Enjoy Country Jam, County Fest and Rock Fest near by then relax by your own camp fire. This is our personal cabin and loud partiers need not apply. Please come and enjoy the area as we have. We've loved every moment of our stay!

My husband and I along with my parents enjoyed Del and Carol's place so much! We wanted to stay somewhere that was close by, but felt like we were miles away - it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was very cozy and clean, plus stocked full of every item you could possibly need. (Even internet access!)

We had such a great time... I'm not sure where to begin. When we arrived Del and Carol kindly met us. They were so friendly and thoughtful to take the time to show us around. We started each day with coffee on the back deck viewing a gorgeous sunrise and watching the birds and other wildlife. And then we head out to the lake! We fished everyday right from the dock, but also went out on our boat conveniently parked on their dock lift... we just couldn't get enough of the wonderful lake life!! (The neighbors next door were great... they even gave us pointers about fishing on the lake.)

In the evening... After grilling out we'd watch a movie or hang by the camp fire. Their cabin is absolutely wonderful and the view of the lake is spectacular. We couldn't have asked for more.

We would highly recommend this fun, yet relaxing and peaceful cabin getaway! Thanks so much Del and Carol for making our end of the summer vacation a memorable one!

Wonderful, comfortable, and immaculate!

My family stayed here over summer 2010, and absolutely fell in love with this place. The descriptions and photos do not do it justice, as it was the cleanest house I think I've ever seen. (and I am very particular!) Del and Carol spent time showing us around,and left so many supplies for our use that it was like living at home.

My kids were entranced by the yard, dock, lake, bird-watching, and marshmallow-roasting activities, and kept themselves fascinated for hours both inside and out.

We would highly recommend this rental to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and amenable place to stay. The activities, location, and condition were 100% perfect!

Family and family- fantastic!

My husband and I rented this home for a week at the end of Sept. We had a great time- the home was perfect, the fishing was great and the location was ideal! We could not have asked for more- having coffee on the dock watching the sunrise was so relaxing! We have rented many homes and none have ever been as well stocked as this home. Del and Carol were kind enough to stop by and go over everything with us. We enjoyed fires in the back and evening walks around the area. Oh and I almost forgot, the birds- I am not normally a bird watcher but there were such a variety of birds I just loved watching them! We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a great lake getaway!

Perfect Place to Get Away From it All

The cabin was perfect. It was just like being at home, only better. We had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the bird and squirrels. We enjoyed a fire every evening. Lake Wissota was beautiful as always.

Great Place for Rest & Relaxation

We had a wonderful time at Del and Carol's cabin. It was very clean and supplied with all the essentials and more. We enjoyed relaxing at night in front of the campfire. It was a great place to get away from it all. The weather was perfect and our dog enjoyed watching all the wildlife. We would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, but fun getaway.
