Jump on nearby Interstate 5 and head south to the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Knott's Soak City or hit the museums at Balboa Park, visit old San Diego at Old Town, play golf at Torrey Pines, see the seals at La Jolla or enjoy the unlimited shopping areas and restaurants San Diego has to offer! Great Escape

This is the ultimate place if you have a family with different generations.We walked to the beach at least once a day. The beach is only a short walk from the house. The community was clean and quiet. We played volleyball and basketball. The pool was delightful and had comfortable lounge chairs. The bathroom was clean.

The house itself is gorgeous and clean. Plenty of room for everyone. There's a cool hot tub with a waterfall in the back and a stroller to take to the beach. There are beach toys too. Plenty of dvds and video games to keep everyone busy.

We cooked and then went to San Diego for a few sight seeing events. It's close and there isn't any traffic in Carlsbad to talk about. There's a restaurant across the street and of course the beach is just down the trail. Close to the trail station if you want to head to a ball game or downtown San Diego. The train is so quiet you don't even hear it even if you are right there.

I recommend this place and would return again.

The hot tub was a hit with the kids and the community pool was a great amenity. Other families around the neighborhood were super friendly. Everything was easy to access, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Wildlife park, beach, outlet malls. We were tired at the end of the day and our 9 year old boys about freaked to learn there was an X-box at the house!! Kept them entertained. The beach was very swimable for kids which we were happy to discover. The house was great, loved the available toys and beach boogie boards!

We had a fabulous stay here. The house is in such a great neighborhood. We enjoyed the wonderful access to the pool/park within the community. The house was very clean and spacious for our needs. We would stay here again and again. Perfect location for beach activities or theme parks!
