Santa Ponca Vacation Rental villa

Overall this property is not set up for holiday rentals. The owner is in the USA and although a very nice chap is not on hand to resolve the niggling little problems everyone gets now and again and he has not established any infrastructure to resolve them in his absence.
Accordingly when we arrived at the property there was nobody to greet us and it was locked! We had been given the telephone number of the gardener a non english speaking gentleman who arrived 15 mins later. Not agreat start! Throughout the stay we had tremendous problems with the front gate finding it very difficult to get in to the property! There are major problems with the electricity supply and if you want to use the washing machine you have to turn the air conditioning off (one unit of the three air con units was broken anyway). One of the fridges was broken, the internet connection we finally got working after 3 days, there was a large crack in the patio door which was extremely unsafe for young children. The pool was small and whilst you have sea views you are a long way from the beach!! We hired the villa for the air con, internet, and to be close to the beach none of which were satisfactory. No english speaking people around to help only made matters worse. One final moan we stayed for 2 weeks but there was no linen change! On the upside the owner is a genuine nice chap just not very well organised!
