Many of our guests like to go for an early jog on the beach & dip in the Gulf of Mexico, and it's not unusual to see the dolphins as they are swimming by!

If you are looking for a relaxed & very informal vacation, biking, walking the beautiful white sandy beach, & swimming in the magnificent Gulf of Mexico, minus all the noise & crowds of highly populated resorts, this is your spot! Enjoy total privacy, behind our picket fenced lawns, with lovely tropical landscaping, and take a dip day or night, in our gorgeous, heated swimming pool & spa! Early evening, perhaps a glass of wine in hand, you may want to stroll to the beach gate to witness the flaming sunsets as they sink below the sky line...Disney World, Busch Gardens, Sea World and the famous International Shopping Mall are nearby.

OUR ONLINE RESERVATION CALENDAR IS ALWAYS UP-TO-DATE. Please view the calendar to see if your dates are available. If your ideal dates are not availble, feel free to email us and ask to be put on a stand-by list, in case your week opens up.

We prefer to answer all questions and complete reservations by using this website; a phone number is provided for last minute bookings (within 3 days).

The house has four bedrooms: two master suites and two standard bedroom. In each master suite there is a king bed and a twin size bed with trundle. In each regular bedroom there are two twin beds. Portable crib is at the property, as are pack & plays. Twelve is the MAXIMUM occupancy we are able to rent to.

The neighborhood this home is located in is upper-scale; the property is perfect for families - it is NOT suitable for 'spring breakers' or any group that wants an environment that allows loud parties.

Check-in is 4:00pm or later.

Notice to all possible tenants: we require a $500.00 booking fee along with an accepted contract to secure your reservation. Until both are received you are not guaranteed a reservation. Also the full amount is due on or before thirty days prior to arrival. All checks shall be made out to 'L.L. Starfish Management, LLC'. A security deposit is required, to be returned after inspection, if no damage or any trash removable required by the cleaning crew. Any sound, noise or parking violations incurred to guests will be deducted from security deposit.

We will consider small dogs (30lbs and under) on a per-request basis; sorry, absolutley no cats, rodents, reptiles or birds.

Anyone who cannot swim is required to wear a life saving device in the pool and spa. Children are to be supervised at all times, without exception.

A maximum of four passenger vehicles are permitted on property and must be parked within the driveway of the property, behind the gates. Unfortuately, street or grass parking is NOT allowed and the City will give you a fine for doing so. Ask us about our on-site RV or boat parking.

Located in the Clearwater Beach neighborhood of Carlouel, 'Sea Shells' is a two minute walk from the private neighborhood beach access. Enjoy walks or jogs on the white sugar sand of the Gulf of Mexico, or spend your day shelling, sunbathing, or swimming! House has heated pool with a spill-over spa and fabulous outdoor grilling area. Pier 60 and the public portion of Clearwater Beach is a quick 5 minutes South; there are too many outstanding restaurants to list within the Clearwater Beach area! You can also book a fishing charter out of the Clearwater Marina or rent jetski's from any number of businesses on the Beach.

Other Activities: Disney World, Universal Studio, Sea World are all approximately 90 minutes East on !4.

Busch Gardens & Adventure Island are approximately 30 minutes East.

World class shopping at International Plaza and fine dining at Bay Street are 20 minutes East on SR 60.

Downtown St. Pete is 30 minutes South.

Downtown Tampa is 30 minutes East.

This home is maintained & decorated in the 5 star resort Tradition! Pure comfort and Beach Luxury!!! Note: 2nd floor master bedroom suites is for family ....with parents and 2 children.., trundle bed , breakfast bar, refrigerator,& lovely furnished balcony.

This house is quite unique. Once we got used to all the doors and where they led to, also which switch operated what, we then found the house very relaxing. It is well situated and very close to a fabulous white sandy shell beach which we seemed to have to ourselves. Great dining table which could accommodate all 10 of us leading to a wonderful open room to relax in. Two new bikes were supplied which we found very useful. We went on a jet ski conducted tour to Caladesi Island from Pier 60 and the men went deep sea fishing and caught grouper and king mackerel - too many to eat! Both trips were brilliant and would recommend them. Great sunsets and dolphins swimming by - oh what a wonderful holiday. We would certainly recommend this house.

Not worth the price!!

My sisters and I rented this home, which looks very nice from the pictures on the internet for a vacation together.
On the positive side, the location of the house is very close to the beach--which is really very nice. We loved this aspect of the home.
Unfortunately, every other aspect fell far below the mark of acceptability. For starters, the house was not clean. In fact, during our stay we noticed cockroaches. Secondly, the Fire Department had to be called our first night due to a leaking gas grill that was left on by the "cleaning crew" and was coming into the home. Third, during the entire time there, the pool and hot tub were broken. Depsite many calls to the owner and property manager, they were not resolved. In fact one of our biggest disappointments was the unresponsiveness of the owner and the property manager who were very responsive when collecting the money for our stay but were not at all helpful when there were problems. Other issues during our stay included a washing machine or dryer that left our clothes with oil marks, broken beach chair(only one), and inferior pool chairs (including one that is a hospital chair!). My recommendation is to stay some place else--not worth the money at all!

We had a great time at this house, we had 3 families in the house. as has been stated, the layout of the house is a bit awkward. but, it does work for multiple families. The house was clean and very attractive, the wet bar and kitchen area are very functional and the lani is great for coffee in the morning;) the hot tub was a bit tough to figure out(need more detailed info on instructions to operate).and the abundant light switches need to be labeled! as a side note, we did have a run in with some small ants, but, the problem was taken care of as soon as we called about it. Over all we had a great time.

Aside from some minor maintanence items, the property exceeded our expectations. Quiet neighborhood and comfortable accomadations for 11 family members. The pool and hot tub were awesome and the gulf just a few minutes away. I highly recommend this property for a large family vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
