This split level family home has a spacious open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area that is perfect for groups and gatherings. The upstairs living area invites you to relax in our reclining leather couches in front of a crackling fire or enjoy our large flat screen TV. Downstairs you will find a den/game room with more couches, a second TV with PS2, movies and games, a perfect space for kids and teens.

The spacious master suite is upstairs and has a beautiful king size aspen log bed, travertine two person shower, walk in closet, separate seating area and a small private deck. There are four well appointed bedrooms downstairs, three with queen beds and one with two twin beds. The middle bathroom has a recessed soaking tub in front of a picture window overlooking the back yard. The downstairs entrance has a large mudroom for wet gear and boots.

A deluxe seven person hot tub is out on the back deck. Durango Mountain Resort is only a 20 minute drive away and 5 minutes down the road is Trimble Hot Springs and Day Spa with an Olympic sized pool. There is ample parking in front for large vehicles.

We used this home for our family reunion. I gave each of my children (and their children) a bedroom and still had extra space. This home had all the resources that we were looking for, and the area has something for all of us to do.
The kichen was well equiped (we did most of our own cooking).

Casa Verde is awesome! Super cozy and comfortable for multi-family or a romantic getaway for a couple. Very spacious master suite and what a great view of the Anamis Valley! Very clean and convenient location. You can walk to the hot springs from here or a quick drive into town! Very private! For what you can get at Casa Verde I don't know why people would ever go to a hotel/motel to pay so much for a ROOM. A SINGLE ROOM for what you can get this entire house with all the comforts and then some! We've been staying here for years and it keeps getting better every time. Thanks Guys! We'll be seeing you again soon! -=Trev, Bree and Oliver=-

My family and several friends recently returned from a ski trip to Durango. While there we rented the Casa Verde home of Forrest & Shona Jones. This was one of the nicest facilities we have ever stayed in. The furnishings were not only clean, but were absolutely beautiful. The house was located close to the lovely town of Durango and only 20 minutes from the ski slopes. We highly recommend this rental property.
