My family has been staying in Mermaid every year for at least 7 or 8 years. We keep coming back because the house is, by far, the best of all the properties we've rented on Nantucket, the Cape and the Vineyard. Great kitchen with gas stove and top of the line appliances, huge master bathroom with a jacuzzi, a separate (huge) stall shower, and a walk in closet. Brenda really takes very good care of the house; I was almost reluctant to write this review for fear it will make it harder to get the times we want in the future, but I wanted to share our great experiences in it.

We have been staying in the "Mermaid" for many years now and I cant express enough how much our family loves it. It's our home away from home and it has everything you can possibly think of needing. The owner of the home has made sure that it is always clean and well maintained on our arrival. The best thing about it is the short walk to the beach! Our children even had there own little play area to watch TV and play upstairs. I highly recommend the Mermaid to anyone who wants to just relax and feel comfortable. It has truely made our family vacations fun and something to remember with the memories that we have shared there!
