We happily share our new log home with you as you build your own treasured memories. This home is already jam-packed with love and joy and ready for more! Mark and I and our four children, aged 7-13 have worked many long months to bring this home into reality. We strive to remember every detail that makes a house a home for busy families or groups to enjoy. When you walk through the door, we hope to make you smile as your heart skips a beat.

Beautifully situated on the bluff overlooking over 500 feet of river front, your private playground quickly brings you back to nature. Your adventure begins as you drive down the 1000 foot meandering lane on the 6 wooded acres on the Little River atop Lookout Mountain. Suddenly your cares wash away.

Constructed of full 6 x 12 logs, this home exudes a rustic calm with all the modern conveniences. Designed to accommodate large families/groups needing to reconnect, laugh and relax.

Our family weekend at Little River Harmony

We just wanted to let you know what a lovely house this was. Everyone was very impressed with the furnishings and the accommodations for everyone. We love it when we can all have separate bedrooms. The screened porch was the best. We enjoyed our trip and all of us being able to stay together. Mentone was a beautiful little town and had a lot of neat places to shop. We visited the falls at Little River Canyon, , the Desoto Falls State Park with a picnic lunch in the little park by the camping park. Also we made the day for the owners of the many antique shops. We do this once a year as our Christmas present to one another. We save our money and go to a different place every year. There are 7 couples in our group all brother and sisters. IF you know of any other places like you have that can be rented please let me know. We usually try to go on holiday weekends and stay 4 nights. We had a drive of 21/2 to 5 hours to Mentone. We came from Clarksville TN, Woodbury TN, Manchester TN, and Memphis. We like to keep it at no more than a 5 hour drive.
So if you know of any rentals please send me the information.

Perfect place for a large group!

My husband and I booked this entire cabin for ourselves and our wedding party so that we could all stay together during our wedding weekend in Mentone. The cabin was the perfect place to stay! We had a blast, the screened-in porch with fireplace is awesome, the cabin is on the water, the rooms were well-appointed, and a good time was had by all. The owners were terrific and responsive. I would definitely stay here again if we had a large enough group.

Family Reunion

We had a large family reunion nearby coming up on Sunday, so we decided to spend Friday and Saturday with our own 'little' part of the family, nestled away from everything except nature. We had 12 adults and 3 children, and were very comfortable the entire stay. Staying here was like being at a friends home. Everything is well kept, tastefully appointed, and perfect for relaxing in nature.
There are several nice restaurants not too far, and nearby DeSoto Falls is breathtaking.

We'll definitely consider this again next year. Thank you Maria and family for sharing...

16 adults- enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our time at Little River Harmony Cabin. We found the beds to be very comfortable. They have an instant water heater, so everybody had plenty of hot water for showers. The basement apartment is nice as well and has a completely separate entrance. They do not have AC in the basement unit, but it was still pretty comfortable in that area. The rest of the house upstairs was nice and cool. The kitchen is smaller, but we found it fully functional and there are lots of nice common areas. The screened in decks are huge and amazing and they have the living room and kitchen area all open with high ceilings to the loft, with an extra round table and chairs in the living room, so this was nice for spending time with the group. We would definitely recommend this place to others and if ever in the area we'd stay again. The price is fair and the owners are very considerate. They even offered some basic kitchen staples as well as some soaps and detergents. Great place for family groups.

Private, Beautiful, Peaceful

We have stayed at Little River Harmony 4 times now and each time has been a true pleasure. We have used the cabin for both men's and women's church retreats. The accomodations are top notch, comfortable, and make you feel at home. We love the privacy and the serene setting. This cabin holds so many special memories for our church members. They are always asking, "When are we going back to the cabin!"
Thank you to the Slaby family for building such a beautiful place for us to enjoy and "retreat" from the world!
