This 1850 sq. ft. all sports lake cottage is the perfect getaway for families, couples or groups. The cottage faces all sports Crawford Lake. There is a large wrap around deck with comfortable patio/beach furniture, sandy beach, dock, Weber BBQ, bonfire pit, hammock, ceiling fans, peddle boat, yak board, great fishing/sunning/relaxing. The cottage is a very 'airy' fun summer vacation spot, great for fall 'colors', and the stone fireplace and location in the 'snowbelt' of Michigan, make this a 'warm/cozy' winter getaway near groomed snow mobile trails and within reasonable driving distances to all the northern ski resorts. The cottage is 25 minutes to Traverse City, 20 mins to Torch Lk, 20 mins to Schuss, 40 mins to Boyne Mtn. Within 10 mins of the cottage there are 3 golf courses, restaurants, bowling, indoor swimming/skating/workout facilities. Enjoy a great Michigan vacation year round..whether it is sun, leaves, or snow you seek, this is the perfect get away!!

Location: Northern Michigan < Michigan < USA

The cottage is 20 minutes west of Grayling and 5 miles east of Kalkaska, just north of hwy 72, on all sports Crawford Lake. The lake is great for all water sports and has an excellent boat launch area. The cottage has a dock for your use. If you don't have your own boat, use our peddle boat or yak board for getting around the lake. We also have water and beach 'toys' for the kids along with many sports activities for playing lakeside.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Max occupancy is 10 guests. Additional charge of $20 per person/night is charged for over 10 guests.
  • Signed rental agreement and $250 refundable security deposit reserves the cottage. Advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate and 50% of the cleaning fee is required 75 days before arrival or along with security deposit if reservation is made within 75 days of arrival.
  • Cleaning service at time of check out is $100 in addition to rental rates. Adjustable rate premium for holiday weeks and weekends will apply.
    Pets will be considered. If a pet is allowed, there is a $20/day or $100/week additional charge for the pet to stay at the cottage.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We had a wonderful vacation is this home. We had 2 adults and 4 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs was so open and spacious, with a huge eating area in the kitchen that we barely used due to the great patio. The owners made it a treat to stay there. There were many toys for the little ones inside and out including the paddleboat and kayak. We enjoyed family movie night and played board games with the great selection of movies and games in the house.
The owners went above and beyond to make this a vacation home you would want to visit again and again.

Our family had a wonderful time at the lake. There were 4 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of room for everyone. It is a very clean and well maintained cottage. The renters thought of everything. Everyone had a great time fishing and paddleboating across the lake. It is very quiet an serene. Perfect location for any of your vacation activities.

We spent the week of 4th of July in this absolutely beautiful home on Crawford Lake. The home is tastefully decorating and maintained to a very high standard. The lake is nice and quiet and great for fishing! We will definitely go back again!

This is the life!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental! It's a beautiful home equipped with all the amenities, the star of which is the glorious sandy beach where we spent much of our time. You can have your morning coffee out on the gorgeous back deck overlooking a stunning view of Crawford Lake, followed by an afternoon of boating, skiing and swimming. A lazy trip up the lake on the peddle boat provided for your use was a favorite activity and one that was a huge hit with my 3 year old nephew. At night, we took advantage of the great firepit to roast our marshmallows and hot dogs. While there is plenty to do if you choose to spend all your time relaxing at the property or on the all sports lake, you will find it is also in an excellent location convenient to nearby attractions which include several golf courses, Traverse City, the many wineries on the peninsula on Grand Traverse Bay, Pirate's Cove for the kids, and many great restaurants, all of which are less than an hour away! If you are looking for a unique dining experience in a scenic location, you must try the Old Mission Tavern located almost at the tip of the peninsula - great food and the best cherry cobbler ever! The owners of this property have thought of everything to make your stay a memorable one, and you will definitely find yourself returning over and over!
