Splendid Apt in the Heart of Charming Roman Neighborhood

I stayed here with 3 girl friends for 1 week in May. We had an amazing time. The apartment was so comfortable and clean and very spacious for 4 adults. It is in a great location! There is a great little market right accross the street and there are lots of great restaurants and cafes all in a 5 minute walk. We did alot of touristy things (including a few day trips) and Nanda arranged a cab driver to take us to our meeting spot. That was so helpful. And we continued to use the driver a few times in the week. The Coloseum is just a short walk away. It was amazing to walk by it every day! There is a metro station close to the apartment as well. I would stay in this apartment again if I ever made it back to Rome :)

We stayed 3 nights in this spacious apartment which is so perfectly located in Rome. We loved coming back to the apartment after long days at the busy tourist-filled sights. We really felt like we were experiencing the true Rome. We had a very memorable dinner at Remo Pizzeria just blocks away where we seemed to be the only tourists there!
We were very comfortable in this apartment - the master bedroom is divine with a huge king size bed. Our kids, aged 8 and 11 were also very happy, with one in the small second bedroom and one on the generously-sized sofa. I would most certainly recommend this apartment to families.
And Nanda was so accommodating to allow us a late evening check in (after 10pm) and even allowed us the comfort of a very late check out as our flight didn't leave until the evening. So much better than a hotel! Thank you!

This is a wonderful apartment! Nanda and Acquilles were wonderful about answering questions and explaining how everything worked, where it was, etc. You can close windows, making the bedrooms really dark which is nice if you want to sleep in. You do need to be aware that the neighborhood is bustling in the morning until about 2pm then closes down until about 4:00pm when it starts bustling again. Plan your shopping accordingly. The apartment is centrally located near enough to the main tourist attractions but clearly in a Roman neighborhood where local people are going about their daily business. The local food market, across the street, was incredible! We shopped at the different stalls for local produce, cheeses, meats, etc. so that we could prepare meals at the apartment which has everything you need. Little things like having paper towels, detergent for the laundry, spices, etc were so helpful and thoughtful! It was also great that Nanda had lots of Rome guide books to look at and get ideas of where to go and what to see. There are tons of restaurants nearby and they all have their menus posted so you can see what is being offered at what price before you sit down. However it would be nice if Nanda and other users of the apartment could start compiling a list of good recommendations Transportation by bus and metro were very close and easy enough to figure out that we went everywhere using them. We chose not to use the 3 or 5 day passes because they weren't necessarily more economical. You need to calculate how many times you expect to ride and make your decision then - one trip (bus and/or metro for 90- min) is only 1 euro per person! Bear in mind the apartment is so close to so many things that if you're ok walking - you won't be riding much.
I would absolutely recommend this apartment and hope to be able to stay here again the next time we can get to Rome.
