Located in Southwestern VT, this cabin is privately situated in a serene rural setting. Recently renovated, this cabin sleeps 6 in bedrooms, with potential of sleeping 10 if using sleep sofas. Full stocked kitchen, with gas range, dishwasher, microwave & refrigerator/freezer. 2 full baths, one with tub/shower, other with shower stall. All fixtures, appliances, plumbing, etc are new. 2 bedrooms have a queen bed, the third has 2 twins. Large wrap-around deck.

The cabin is located on a quiet dirt road which meanders through a valley featuring cornfields, horse pastures and apple orchards, with 2300' peaks on either side of the valley. Ideally situated for those who like to get away from it all, there are numerous trails for hiking in the area. Our road is part of a loop, ideal for long distance bicycling trips, but is equally perfect for long walks. Or, if you simply want a break, just sit back, read and/or play games all day, then enjoy a wonderful meal, either staying in (the kitchen has plenty of work space and is well stocked) or going out (the area has numerous restaurants to chose from). Area activities, within a half hour +/-, include skiing, golf, fly fishing, theater, concerts, ice skating, shopping (antique, outlet, art, crafts & more), plus numerous historic destinations. Manchester & Bennington, VT are 30 mins away, Dorset, VT & Saratoga, NY are about 40-45 mins away.

Gorgeous, Secluded, and Memorable

Friends and I spent 3 nights at this property and enjoyed it tremendously. Pictures really don't do this home justice; 10 of us were very comfortable in the 3 bedroom house, and the wrap-around porch was ideal for chilling out, barbequeing, and watching the sun set over the horizon.
We were especially impressed with the large, well-equipped kitchen and pine-lined bedrooms. The owner provided a comprehensive guidebook and numerous maps to area activities, and we enjoyed river tubing, hiking, and quarry swimming within 30 minutes of the property.
This home is very secluded, which was perfect. We were undisturbed by neighbors, traffic, or other interference. I've already referred friends to this listing, and look forward to returning in the future.
