These 5 luxury apartments are privately owned - there should be no confusion between these magnificent properties and other sparse holiday properties offered locally. 'Fairways',is a quiet and secure complex built in Andalusian village style. There are sub tropical gardens and an immaculate heated & lifeguard monitored swimming pool. The accommodation and resort are particularly popular with families and those seeking a quiet haven in which to relax. The apartments were completely refurbished in 2009. All day sun is ensured by a south-facing balconies, plus from the penthouses rooftop sun decks. There are breathtaking views of the sea in one direction and Mount Teide volcano the other. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Venetian tiles cover the floor and lounges are very spacious, some have additional sofa bed. All have English TV, DVD & CD, radio. The kitchens are fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc. etc. There is no charge for utilities or linen

This stylish ground floor air conditioned Suite is privately owned and a haven of luxury - you will not find any sofa beds here ! Fully refurbished in April 2008, it is immaculate throughout. The huge terrace is south facing so gets the sun all day long, in the summer this means 7am to 9 pm and is the largest at Fairways. It is also raised for privacy & security. There is a B B Q, plenty of loungers and has table / chairs for 'al fresco ' dining or for just that glass of chilled wine as the sun goes down. The large lounge has leather upholstery, TV /DVD, video plus radio /CD. There are numerous DVD.s & CD's plus a mini library. Table & chairs are there for indoor dining, if too warm for you outside ! The new kitchen has oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, plus no end of toasters, juicers, coffee maker etc. Also for the energetic there is a iron, for not so energetic an on site laundry which can wash & iron your clothes in a day !

The Amarilla Estate is situated on the southern Costa del Silencio coast about a 10 minute taxi ride (£10) from the airport. It is perfectly situated midway between the airport and lively tourist areas of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas. Fairways is a small private development self contained with a friendly village atmosphere. Built in Andulucian style it is situated in the middle of two lush championship golf courses. It is gated for security and exclusivity. Twenty miles to the north is the Mount Tiede volcano and a hundred yards to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic walks. Here the beaches are shingle, but a short distance away in either direction, are safe sandy ones. On site there is a quality restaurant, several bars and car hire facilities. Adjacent there is a supermarket, a laundry, a take away, video hire and a sports bar. Additionally there is a 24-hour British representative on hand to help with any emergencies,queries,excursions or money changing

There will be tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, bread, butter, jam, cake, sweets, plus a bottle or two of wine to make sure your holiday gets off to a great start. Also there is a 24hour key collection service if you are arriving 'out of hours'

Nothing but praise for Fairways. Holidayed there October 08 with 4 friends. Apartment well equipped and spacious. Everything spotlessly clean. The three bedrooms are well sized, two having double beds and one having two single beds. The two double bedrooms have lovely en-suites Huge terrace which was also well equipped. There is a big table on the terrace which was lovely to sit at if you wanted to escape the hottest part of the day as it's situated under cover.

Complex itself is small which we liked. Plenty of activities by way of activity co-ordinator who operates poolside and golf and tennis nearby. Complex also has table- tennis tables. There is a mini-supermarket at the front of the complex which has all your everyday items, Perfect place for children. Lots of fantastic restaurants can be found only a 10 minute walk away. If you want to go to Playa or Los Christianos then it's about 15/20miins in a taxi and costs about 15 euro. We are planning to return to Fairways with family next time.

Luxury three bedroom apartment

I Spent ten day here in August with three friends. The apartment has everything you might need and this one in particular has an extra large patio. If you want private sun-bathing then it's one step away from your lounge. Otherwise you'll find a friendly bunch of fellow holidaymakers just below in the pool area. The complex has everything you might need and outside its secured area there is a mini-supermarket and a choice of restaurants to add to the ones on site. Ten minutes walk away there is a large choice of eating places and some shops. This location is secure and child-friendly with all day pool attendants and various things to join in like aqua-robics if you wish to socialise a bit. Personally, If holidaying in Tenerife next year I shall be happy to do exactly the same again.

Great place to relax and unwind ......

Had a fantastic holiday here in August. Four of us shared this lovely roomy apartment (each of the 3 bedrooms also has its own bathroom). The terrace was large, had its own sunbeds, and got the sun all day. It was in prime position overlooking the pool area, and at the same time had privacy. It also had a BBQ if you fancy doing your own cooking (supermarket nearby), and inside a very homely feel with TV, DVD, and all the usual kitchen applicances - the "welcome food pack" was very good too (including a bottle of wine).
Fairways is a very safe and friendly development with plenty of bars and restaurants on site, or if you don't mind a short walk along the road or coastline, there are lots more restaurants in walking distance - you are spoiled for choice. We particularly liked the Palms Restaurant on the site where you can sit outside, the food is great and staff very friendly. We also hired a car to tour the island, which you can also do at Fairways.
Altogether a lovely, relaxing holiday, friendly environment, and the opportunity to do as much or as little as you please. Will definitely be returning next year!

Luxury Poolside airconditioned Suite

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in this Suite.

Have been to Fairways many times but this apartment is by far the best we have stayed in, anywhere. Its huge terrace is not only brilliant for sunbathing but the amount space is also great for the children and although next to the pool it is suprisingly quiet with lots of privacy.

The interior is very comfortable, perfectly clean, well looked after and has absolutely everything you could ever need.

Bedrooms are all large and what bliss in not having to share bathrooms - there are 3 and all bigger than my one at home !

Fairways is so friendly and it was great fun trying to count the number in the turtle pool. The swiming pool is immaculate and the ever present life guard, very reassuring.

Don't bother with a car as everything you need is within a few minutes walk, even with a double buggy filled with 7 month old twins and a 3 year old in tow ! Dont bother cooking either - you will not starve as there are numerous resturants within a 10 minute walk .

The Island bar (in middle of swimming pool) do great fry up breakfasts plus some healthy options, just dont ask which we went for ! If you are not as lazy, there is a well stocked supermarket opposite which stocks Pampers & Heinz baby food

Fairways seems to offer something for everybody, great pool, beautiful gardens and everything on you doorstep.
The only (minor) complaint was that the swimming pool loos could be improved but hey we had three of our own very close by !
