These 5 luxury apartments are privately owned - there should be no confusion between these magnificent properties and other sparse holiday properties offered locally. 'Fairways',is a quiet and secure complex built in Andalusian village style. There are sub tropical gardens and an immaculate heated & lifeguard monitored swimming pool. The accommodation and resort are particularly popular with families and those seeking a quiet haven in which to relax. The apartments were completely refurbished in 2009. All day sun is ensured by a south-facing balconies, plus from the penthouses rooftop sun decks. There are breathtaking views of the sea in one direction and Mount Teide volcano the other. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Venetian tiles cover the floor and lounges are very spacious, some have additional sofa bed. All have English TV, DVD & CD, radio. The kitchens are fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc. etc. There is no charge for utilities or linen

This one bedroomed apartment is situated right next to the swimming pool, but raised to ensure privacy & security, It has a large terrace & loungers which get all day sun. Part covered for hotter days, there is a BBQ, table & chairs to dine 'al fresco' or simply watch the sun go down ! The apartment was fully refurbished at the start of 2009 & now has airconditioning & a huge walk in shower in the bathroom. The large modern interior is equipped with all mod cons ensuring a 'home from home' feeling. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The lounge has additional table & chairs, a quality sofa bed, stereo system, CD, high quality digital TV and DVD player. The modern kitchen is all electric and has hob, oven, microwave, toaster,iron, washing machine, coffee maker etc There is no shortage of cooking utensils, tableware etc & on arrival you will be greeted with complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits The bedroom has a double bed & lounge a double sofabed

The Amarilla Estate is situated on the southern Costa del Silencio coast about a 10 minute taxi ride (£10) from the airport. It is perfectly situated midway between the airport and lively tourist areas of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas. Fairways is a small private development self contained with a friendly village atmosphere. Built in Andulucian style it is situated in the middle of two lush championship golf courses. It is gated for security and exclusivity. Twenty miles to the north is the Mount Tiede volcano and a hundred yards to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic walks. Here the beaches are shingle, but a short distance away in either direction, are safe sandy ones. On site there is a quality restaurant, several bars and car hire facilities. Adjacent there is a supermarket, a laundry, a take away, video hire and a sports bar. Additionally there is a 24-hour British representative on hand to help with any emergencies,queries,excursions or money changing

SECURITY: Fairways is a private complex and is gated. It is ultra safe and secure, but the apartment has an electronic safe for peace of mind

WELCOME PACK: On arrival you will find a free goodies pack waiting for you, so you will not starve if you are arriving after the Supermarket closes !. There will be tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, bread, butter, jam, cake, sweets, plus a bottle or two of wine to make sure your holiday gets off to a great start. Also there is a 24hour key collection service if you are arriving 'out of hours'

Tranquil quality apartment

I stayed at fairways on the reccomendation of my daughter who had been there earlier in the year. The whole complex was more upmarket than I expected and was exactly what I wanted, ie very restful. The reviews led me to booking this apartment, which seemed to offer exactly what I wanted - a peaceful position in the sun on a south facing terrace and I got exacty what I wanted.

Opposite the apartment on the otherside of the swimming pool, is the Palms restaurant where I not only had some enjoyable dinners, but also found I could sit outside during the afternoons, unrushed with a just a coffee and a few tea cakes,relaxing and simply watching the world go by !

I like quality food and found some other very good restaurants a few minutes walk away in the new Marina , Though on a couple of evenings I did stay in and cook for myself, The Supermarket had a good choice of fresh food and decent wine. The apartments kitchen had everything I needed and Eastenders was on the television -bliss!

The apartment had obviously been looked after and was immaculate, very clean and had a nice homely feel to it.
The bed was comfy (and I think new ), the decor appealing and everything had a quality feel to it.

Overall the apartment was far better than I expected for a holiday home, in fact it was nearer to a show house. Bathroom and kitchen were definately new. It was on the ground floor which suited me too and a perfect position with a very large terrace.

Absolutley no complaints, it was just a perfect holiday in all respects. Will I go back, what do you think - sunshine and this sort of quality at a sensible cost, only 4 hours away from the UK ? !!!!!

Feel at home in the sun ....

I have recently returned from a holiday at Fairways and cannot praise it enough. This was a lovely apartment, clean, comfortable and with all mod cons to give it a truly "at home" feel. I particularly liked the large walk-in shower. The apartment was on the ground floor overlooking the swimming pool, but had lots of privacy with a large patio where we could either lie out in full sun, or retreat to sit in the shade. We ate all our meals outside on the patio (even in February!)
The development, was small and very friendly, with a variety of amenities, including a beauty salon for that essential bit of pampering! There were plenty of places to eat, either on the development itself, or just a short walk away. Highly recommended - I have already re-booked to go back in September.
