Great location for the events I attended. Only a couple miles either direction to everything I needed. Backyard and deck were perfect for the weather and outdoor entertaining.

All you ever needed to feel at home. Only downside was the beds weren't very good. Otherwise the place was very nice and quiet. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a decent place for a great price.

Not for Those with Allergies

Funky little house, but stay away, if you have allergies. There is a resident cat on the property who wants in badly, scratches on sliding glass door constantly (and apparently has been in, judging from the cat odor.) Also, not for nonsmokers. Left shortly after I checked in, due to odors/allergies. No consideration given for deposit return.

Appropriate for low-budget travelers who aren't bothered by odors/allergies/cats.
Owner's Response: I have removed the cat that was on the property. This property is a non-smoking rental, and have not ever noticed a smoke odor in the house. My rental policy is that you will not get your deposit back but if you are not happy with the house you do not have to pay anything else.

Cute little house in the heart of Eugene. Easy on/off freeway, near downtown & University, but away form traffic and noise. Food and shopping are close. The beds are soft and fluffy. Everything was there for us: linens, towels, games, internet access, washer/dryer, all kitchen appliances & supplies, even coffee. The backyard is amazing, nicely landscaped with fruit trees, flowers and includes a deck, table and chairs and a BBQ. The adjacent neighborhood was a bit seedy, but we had no issues, as this is Eugene, not L.A.

The price was an awesome deal, especially when the options are icky overpriced downtown motels. The door has a lockbox, making our late arrival effortless. The home is small, but we had a house full of teenagers and it felt just fine. We will DEFINITELY check this house first on our next trip to Eugene. We had a great time.

Pros: Great location in Eugene, owner was nice and easy to deal with, wonderful backyard, home is fully equipped, home is older with a great comfortable 'feel', the price for what we got was awesome.

Cons: Only one bathroom, upstairs gets warm in the heat of summer.

If you stay: Albertson's is a few blocks south on Chambers at 18th, 'Dutch Brothers Coffee (walk) on corner of 11th is great , Amazon Market (walk) on 11th has cheep breakfast sandwiches, best breakfast is 'Ye Olde Pancake House' at 11th and McKinley , Papa's Soul Food Kitchen at Blair and 4th has *GREAT* ribs and BBQ.

Really nice and comfortable home!!! I recomend it!

This house is spacious and close to major streets to go just about anywhere in Eugene. The backyard was spacious and great for the kids to play in. We really enjoyed hanging out on the porch, the weather was beautiful. The renters were amazing, very helpful and nice. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in Eugene and not be cooped up in a hotel room.

Only minor down side was the steep stairs, but we shut the door to the stairs and it kept the kids out. The other minor thing was the neighbor hood isn't the best, but we had absolutely no problems. Don't let either of these deter you. You can't beat the relaxing environment or versatility you have renting this house.
