These 5 luxury apartments are privately owned - there should be no confusion between these magnificent properties and other sparse holiday properties offered locally. 'Fairways',is a quiet and secure complex built in Andalusian village style. There are sub tropical gardens and an immaculate heated & lifeguard monitored swimming pool. The accommodation and resort are particularly popular with families and those seeking a quiet haven in which to relax. The apartments were completely refurbished in 2009. All day sun is ensured by a south-facing balconies, plus from the penthouses rooftop sun decks. There are breathtaking views of the sea in one direction and Mount Teide volcano the other. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Venetian tiles cover the floor and lounges are very spacious, some have additional sofa bed. All have English TV, DVD & CD, radio. The kitchens are fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc. etc. There is no charge for utilities or linen

This one bedroomed penthouse apartment is on the top (2nd floor) with a unique covered balcony overlooking the pool, gardens, sea and volcano. Being south facing it enjoys all day sun too. The lounge has a very high ceiling and thus is very airy and cool. It opens onto two separate balconies for panoramic views of the estate. This apartment was refurbished during 2008 and is equipped with all mod cons ensuring a 'home from home' feeling. The lounge has a stereo, digital TV, DVD and video and all rooms have ceiling fans. The American style kitchen is all electric and has oven, hob, extractor, microwave etc And there will be tea, coffee, milk, biscuits awaiting your arrival and no doubt a bottle of wine to start your holiday properly.

The Amarilla Estate is situated on the southern Costa del Silencio coast about a 10 minute taxi ride (£10) from the airport. It is perfectly situated midway between the airport and lively tourist areas of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas. Fairways is a small private development self contained with a friendly village atmosphere. Built in Andulucian style it is situated in the middle of two lush championship golf courses. It is gated for security and exclusivity. Twenty miles to the north is the Mount Tiede volcano and a hundred yards to the south is the rugged Atlantic coast with dramatic walks. Here the beaches are shingle, but a short distance away in either direction, are safe sandy ones. On site there is a quality restaurant, several bars and car hire facilities. Adjacent there is a supermarket, a laundry, a take away, video hire and a sports bar. Additionally there is a 24-hour British representative on hand to help with any emergencies,queries,excursions or money changing

Romantic getaway ...

Have just come back from a lovely relaxing holiday in Tenerife and this apartment lived up to all my expectations. On the top floor with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, it has a large sun terrace with its own loungers. The inside has a lovely high ceiling which makes it not feel more special than a regular holiday apartment. All beautifully clean, light and spacious with all mod cons (TV, DVD, radio etc.) Lovely kitchen, very well fitted out if you feel like cooking and eating in. Otherwise loads of reasonably priced restaurants round and about. We also happened to meet the owner while on holiday and he was very friendly and helpful!

A First Class Apartment

A beautifully decorated, clean and tastefully furnished apartment on this attractive and well maintained/secure complex. The apartment is immaculate - the owner has thought of everything to make for a perfect holiday including providing a very generous welcome pack which included a bottle of red wine!. The spacious lounge is light and airy and very comfortable. The kitchen area is well stocked with all the necessary crockery/cutlery etc and with a washing machine which we found very useful. The double bedroom is a good size and has plenty of wardrobe space. The apartment, which is situated in a quiet area of the complex, overlooks the pool and we enjoyod sitting on the balcony where there is a table and chairs and two sun lounges. There is a supermarket opposite the complex and a good restuarant called Palms on site.
We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and also hired a car from for a few days from Amarillo Car Hire. Fairways is well situated to visit Mount Teide and other parts of the island.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone else.

Great place to stay

A brilliant place to stay for a relaxing holiday and also a good base from which to do trips if you want to see more of the island. The apartment at fairways and the grounds cannot be faulted - everything is imalculate. We were very appreciative of the welcome pack we found on arrival, which included tea/coffee etc and even wine, especially useful if you arrive late at night. There are ample restuarants and bars - just not enough time to sample them all! This is a very friendly and safe complex and I would highly recommend you give it a try.
