Exclusive Home in Serra Retreat area in Malibu. It is situated in a gated, private, park like setting with inspiring views of the ocean and mountains. The area is home to many celebrities and walking distance to the famous Surf Rider Beach and close to the center of Malibu. The home is decorated with custom furnishings, a gourmet kitchen that opens to a great room with fireplace. A charming brick outdoor living room begins the indoor/outdoor living and wraps around the house to the pool ,spa and brick terrace area with magnificent views of the Santa Monica Mountains. The master looks out to a secluded garden with palm trees overhead. It is completely private and quiet. An upper garden/orchard is the perfect getaway for painting, yoga or sunbathing. The beach is close, but you may never want to leave your oasis in Malibu.

Malibu-Where the Mountains meet the Sea. Walk to town, beach and hiking in your backyard. The weather is always mild and perfect for all beach, museum, and leisure activities. Multi million dollar homes surround this wonderful home. A great location to go to movies, art galleries and a convenient drive to many theme parks, wineries, and historic sites. The house is just off Pacific Coast Highway (1/2 mile down road, 5 minute walk) and the Malibu Country Mart is just around the corner (10 minute walk). Despite the proximity to the coastal highway, Serra Canyon offers an immediate rural feeling, with a few small private roads filled with horse corrals and State Park hiking paths in the back of the canyon. The Malibu Pier (just around the corner) has recently re-opened also, with an outdoor cafe/bar plus a new Beachcomber restaurant in the spot where Alice's Restaurant stood for many years.
