About this home: This wonderful home is quiet, comfortable and clean. The single-level layout is easy to navigate and ideal for those who cannot manage stairs well. The tiled gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and the home has a separate large dining area overlooking the backyard. The pool area gets sun a majority of the day, so whether you enjoy taking that morning dip in the pool before starting your day or love entertaining your family and friends at night on the patio, the gorgeous landscaping of this yard will make your entire stay a great experience. This home comes complete with all linens and towels and other amenities that make your vacation, short or long-term stay, enjoyable.
What to do: There is so much to do for everyone in your family or group. The children will love visiting Old Town Scottsdale or Rawhide 1880's Western Town, and there are numerous outdoor adventures to enjoy for the entire family such as the Wildlife Park and Zoo. For the more adventuresome, hike any of the beautiful mountain ranges, go rock climbing, backpacking in the Sonoran Preserve, experience some of our wild west tours or horseback riding or enjoy a hot air balloon ride over the area. For more thrills, you can go rafting at the Salt River. If you are staying for an extended period, just get on the 101 and take a ride out to the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, see the Petrified Forest, or enjoy watersports at Saguaro Lake. For more cultural activities, visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West, the Desert Botanical Garden or any number of area museums. And don't miss downtown Art & Shopping Districts with the best in art and antiques. If golf is your love--enjoy the many,many, nearby courses.
Ideal home for: Great for 'snowbirds', business assignments and family vacations alike, this beautiful home is convenient to all that North Scottsdale has to offer. Walk to Kierland Commons, this area's superstar of shopping areas, contains Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Sur la Table and dozens of other shops. The Borgata and Fashion Square are also nearby. You have your pick right here of some of the finest Scottsdale restaurants such as P.F. Chang's, Morton's of Chicago and Medizona. Light and airy, with a private pool and putting green, the home has 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite leads out to the lush backyard and pool area and is furnished with queen bed with the adjoining master bath having a walk-in shower and corner tub. The second and third bedrooms have queen beds as well. The living room is large and well furnished complete with cable TV and DVD. Sit and enjoy the cool winter nights in front of this beautiful fireplace.
Golf: If golf is your love, then there are almost 200 courses in the area. Local world-class golf courses include: Westin Kierland, Fairmont Princess TPC Scottsdale, JW Marriot Wildfire, Troon North, and The Boulders.
Guest Book: April 2008--We recently completed a two month stay at this lovely home and it was a fantastic experience! The neighborhood is very quiet with large parks and the golf course nearby, great dining choices and shopping and entertainment options were abundant. The home and the pool were sparkling clean and we woke each morning to enjoy coffee on the sunny patio overlooking our private pool. Our favorite feature was the ability to walk to so many places due to the excellent location of the home. The property owners were gracious and friendly--which was a nice bonus and we could contact them anytime we needed information or something at the house. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be returning next year for another three month visit! We highly recommend this property to anyone interested in a location that is close to nearly everything the Scottsdale/Phoenix area has to offer and is looking for a charming, clean and quiet home in an ideal neighborhood. hubbardseed@earthlink.net
