Description of the Stoddard vacation castle rental
Located on Dead Brook Pond, 200 yards from the Highland Lake boat launch
This house is perfect for families or multiple families with the 3 level layout. The main floor contains a living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and seating at the island. The loft has seating or sleeping for 2 on the futon. The fully finished basement has separate heat, bedroom and game area with a pool table and all equipment. The road is a dirt road and the landscaping will not be complete for any spring 2008 or early summer 2008 rentals. Air mattresses are available within the house. There is a general store and public boat launch within walking distance from the house and Pitcher Mountain offers many beautiful hiking trails. 20 min drive to Keene for fabulous dining and shopping. 8 miles to two ski slopes and tubing for hours of winter fun. The local marina in Stoddard is a 5 min drive and offers a variety of boat/ fishing/ snow mobile rentals as well as a restaurant and bar.

Located on Deadbrook Pond which is attached to Highland lake across rt 123. Stoddard is 20 minutes to either Keene or Hillsborough where there are many festivals and events throughout the year. Stoddard is home to Pitcher Mountain, which is famous for its breath taking views and blueberry picking. Stoddard is a mountain retreat only 2 hours from Boston and Hartford.

- The master bedroom is attached to the master full bath. The second bedroom is across the hall from the main full bath. The loft has a double futon with a GREAT view of the pond and birch trees The downstairs bedroom has a twin upper bunk with a pullout double futon below it as well as a twin loft bed. All bedrooms have closets, outlets, and switched lights. The loft does not have a dedicated light and is open to the cathedral ceiling so if there is a lot of noise in the main floor a light sleeper is not recommended to stay there.
