View from balcony better than pictures depict. Great low-key location on Sanibel. Not as west facing as I would have prefered (but knew that going in). Updated unit was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Kitchen was tight for one, let alone two people, but manageable. Very friendly and helpful office staff. DVD was not in working order (didn't look completely hooked up). Seems silly, but really missed the chaise lounge on balcony (shown in pictures). Saw myself with a good book, great glass of wine and nice place for a nap. All-in-all, an excellent unit in a great place. Would give it 4.5 stars had the system let me.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

Another glorious week on Sanibel Island! We've been visiting the Island for many years, but this was our first time at Sandalfoot. The Unit was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated - the size is ideal for two persons. The complex is well maintained and very quiet, and the Staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was renovated, which was done very tastefully. All the amenities were provided, including beach chairs, mat and an umbrella. The staff was great! They went above and beyond their duties. Thank you so much for making our stay as comfortable as possible. We will return!
